  • ' Between June 2007 to July 2008 Police received more than 400 hoax calls a month '. That's shocking! that's more than 100 calls a week, what if there was an emergency call to the police and these thoughtless inconsiderate people blocked the the landline access for a genuine report & call for help? This neither helps the public or the police, what an irresponsible little twerp that hoax caller is!

  • 3:13 it all went wrong. These types of people really annoy me!

  • If he was genuinly robbed, then it doesnt matter weather they stole 20p or £100. Its a scary experience and baddies need to be caught. But this is just silly. I hope one day he does need the feds and there the other side of bristol responding to a hoax and then he gets robbed or raped. Peace.

  • I think she should have just hung up on him after he told her it was 50p. There's no point wasting time on people who are clearly too stupid to know better.

  • this isnt funny this really does happen. im an emergency service worker and this is a waste of valuble resources costing potentially you your life and money from youre taxes. dispicable.

  • These people really need to think about their actions. The emergency services are not for stolen 50p!

  • lol, Gotta admit i hate people who do this but this is just genius

  • In no way is it genius.

  • help him lol

  • Whats Prats!!! :@

Need a good booting up the backside !!!!

  • Dumb idiots they obviously do not realise the consequence of their actions.

With any luck someone will really take his money in the future, that would be more fun than a hoax call!

  • Does the UK not have the ability to track your location off of a mobile or landline?

In the US he would've been posted on a map for the operator to pass onto the police officer(s) responding.

  • ye they do, but they will obv just get rid ov the phone

  • I don't think the emergency services office posted it for a laugh, actually.

this was published as a serious example of a hoax call.. the kind that actively prevents the service saving other people's lives.

  • this is a disgrace

  • I feel really sorry for the emergency services people, they are just trying to help people and do there job. sometimes it could be a laugh though. The guy is a right idiot.

  • this is disgraceful

  • Until I heard the big laugh I was uncertain about how real this was! You know you could always take drama as a option for GCSE you stupid idiot! At least you would do something with your life!

  • Take it this guys never heard of the boy that cried wolf...just you wait...what comes around goes around...
