  • This is one of the best low speed lean vids on youtube.

  • Can you claify.. The idea to knee drag is to lean off the bike whilst keeping bike as upright as possible so you keep the meaty part of the tyre in contact with the road = more grip & less chance of crashing off. Obviously the faster you go round a corner the more you have to lean the bike but then you achieve more down force pressing the tyre into the road = more grip & less chance of crashing. But you still need to be hanging off the bike. Any info welcomed as i'm learning..

  • @gasejo Your logic is actually very good. I wouldn't call it downforce however as that is a aerodynamic term usually found with cars and planes. It is mechanical grip. By leaning off, like you said, you allow the bike to take less stress through the turn and reduce risk of traction loss, thus enabling you to turn even tighter, leaning even greater. It should come naturally, its more about the particulars of the technique that you need to get right.

  • Ever thought about doing Moto-Gymkhana? lol

  • dude.. is this is basic practise to knee down??? to me, it seen like hard to do...

  • you guys are funny, good vids! Lake burnout! haha

  • Nice video man no matter whatever other people say, i know it isn't easy overcoming the drop feeling of the bike @ a slow speed, as a matter of fact i am working on it :) If you have any tips pls let me know! I can knee down the bike in corners @ a good speed but i do LOVE my bike and i am nervous to drop it @ a low speed! Great vid, i loved the water-burn out :) A fellow rider

  • When you are done going through a turn how do you get the bike upright again.

  • @whothaplaya You drop it on the floor, get up, stand the bike up and ride off in a nice upright position!

  • i love this, smooth as you like knee down fun. wish i was there.

  • LOL. . LMFAO ! ! ! That is one person that NEEDS to go to a REAL track riding school. . He still has his head in line with the bike and his/her butt is WWAAYYY off the bike ! ! Sorry to say that is NOT dragging a knee ! ! ! I give him kudos for having on the right gear though . . LOL ! !

  • Cool video. If I may give a word of suggestion, when you move your lower body off the bike, pretend to "kiss the mirror" and your upper torso will move in unison. This helps keep weight evenly distribute, stands the bike more upright, and results in a tighter corner pattern. Thats what helped me to find the best body position. "Kiss the mirror!" Keep your rubber side down bro!

  • rainbow burnout!~@?

  • OOh a rainbow

  • Good control dude .. I tried the car-park a couple of times, can't figure out WHY BUT !! I still can't get the confidence to do what you're doing. I guess some people have it and some people don't .. LOL .. mabe one day I will have what it takes :)

  • @renchua38 It has all to do with confidence and the skill will follow, try going to your local track and doing a few track day riding sessions. Make sure the school is credited like Frank Kinsey Race school. You will learn a lot and maybe do some racing ! !

  • thanks for the upload, i enjoyed watching it :)

  • Sweet !

  • its ok the body position because if you moved your head over and shoulder more at that speed i dont think its possible as gravity would take over

  • I don't understand why people a bagging on you. I don't care how many riders you watch, everyone has a little bit of a difference in their riding position. Do what works for you, and what you are comfortable with!!! Enjoyed your video, you were having fun and that's all that matters. I have some vidoes of me and my friends riding some twisty roads so I understand where you are coming from. Take care and don't stop having fun!!!

  • wooowww burnout with rainbow!!!

  • MAN YOU SHOWED THAT WATER WHO'S BOSS!!

  • cool video,check out mine.

  • em body position all wrong lol good for u do might mess up your time on da track ;)

  • very cool and smoothly done! :)

    excellent gas-control.

do have a constant speed? or do you have a constant roll-on on the gas?

    regards

    K

  • Water burnout!!

  • Nice skills dude!!! Very smooth riding. Keep on doing good job!

  • Hes not that bad. Body position wise, looks like to me most of the time his head is over. Idk, kinda hard to tell in the video. Good work man. I like it.

  • I am more skilled than you dude, and is iz ridin an old honda so eat me biaatch!

  • is it a 1000 or 600?

  • look at this rainbow in 1:00. Very nice vid.

  • haha at less he has fun

  • have fun dude and fuck the haters.

  • this is cool GJ!

  • 1:02 - you produced a rainbow, nice, man :))))

  • hahahaha this was good for a laugh, to everyone saying fuck you to this guy etc chill out. he didn't say 'hardcore knee down doing 200mph on a backroad' its just a guy messin in a parking lot. i laughed cos i know its not serious..

  • for everyone criticizing the body posture. There is not a completely right body posture. It varies a lot and it depends on the rider, even at the highest racing level. you can take your ass completely off the seat and keep your upper body leveled with the bike, like Norick Abe or you can do like Rossi that almost doesn't take half butt cheek off the seat. It's a matter of choice. The only difference is leaning your upper body is recently a more commonly adopted technique

  • fuckin retarded.... what are you fucken scared to get your Upper body off the bike??? .... Ass off the bike dont count.... you need to get your fucken head and shoulders off the BIKE YOU FUCK!!!

  • @ozzman69 upper body off the bike or not is not a question of right or wrong, it's just a question of old-school new-school. ;)

  • NICE JOJOJOJO NICE

  • Im not going to knock anyone on a bike...Especially learning a skill like cornering...Nice work! Its harder to learn curves than a wheelie BTW!

  • lol what the fuck..thats not getting your knee down... thats hanging off your bike like a fucking idiot..and daft twat can do that

  • lol nice job man half those fools can"t do it doing 15mph let alone track speeds of 35mph don't hate on the man for having skills

  • make it look easy why dont you...

  • Wrong body position...

  • y is every 1 having a go at him there nothing wrong with his vids he has put up :)

  • Very good video for us to see the way and the form to train kneedown,it's not necessary hi speed.Very good lesson, thank you.

  • nice knee down !! could u make a vedio to teach how to do knee down????

  • @NottheonlyHong thats bullshit. its called hang off not "stay on seat and put your knee out".

  • @NottheonlyHong theyre also going faster...think of it kinda like counter weighting...to get your knee down at low speeds you have to hang off the seat

  • @thrasha666

A bike weighs 200kg+, coupled with the momentum of staying upright, the weight of you hanging off the bike is negligible. It's why counter-steering is so effective. You're using the momentum of the bike to lean it. Agree with NottheonlyHong. Go watch MotoGP and watch Stoner/Rossi/Lorenzo. Their asses stay on the seat

  • @Precisionstonemaul dude...i race i know how to ride...i know how the pros do it, but the point im making is that at slow speeds your not getting the bike down as low as you could going faster, therefore youd have to hang of your bike...i can drag a knee at 10mph and i can drag it all the way up to 180, until u post or show me a video of dragging a knee at ultra slow speeds without hanging u and nottheonlyhong are wrong, there are videos of all the pros hanging when theyre going slow case closed

  • @Precisionstonemaul not completely, only half, and Toni Elias is completely off, like Mike Dohan

  • 1:02 rainbooow

  • impresive!!!

  • is it harder doing this at slower speeds? ive decided to grow some balls and just try it....is that a good idea or a bad one...(going at a speed like yours)

  • @Clutchisback1 Better warm up your tires real good before you try it

  • @syncstation Im from Australia, and im fair sure 750cc isn't learner legal. Idiot.

  • This guy is a fucking twat. I've seen your stupid fucking "jokes" about squids buying shit (and you fit right in dickhead), and your other one where you're harassing some poor bastard who's just out for a leisurely ride. If I met you man I'd split your fucking head open before you knew what happened. Fucking American dribble of useless shit. Go fuck yourself and take your shitty fucking videos off youtube you fucking wannabe faggot.

  • Lol... look at you being all e-thug and what not. Fucking awesome cupcake. If i ever met you, id put my dick in your ass and jiz in your hair... fucking twat lol.

  • @kingnothing3rd ew dude are u gay

  • @kingnothing3rd thats gay,,,,, y not his mom lol

  • nice shit 1: 00

  • yeah you do - my comment was no "bad" one, i think you drive masterful EVEN AT LOW SPEED - incredible! wish i could do that on my gsxr 750 k7 :) so props to you and thanks anyway for your answer, greetings from germany!

  • Haha - that's great!

And for 50% of the comments on this posting hate mail. Just confirms that most people that comment bike stuff either don't ride or are big men when they're behind the keyboard.

  • huhh, nice drivin' in low speed! wish i could do that with my gsxr750 k7 - and mr "syncstation", try that on LOW speed, it's harder than high speed you prick, i think you never ride a superbike..

  • have tried and can do fuckwit. I do ride a sportbike. i have no need to do it anyway squid.

  • You can go suck this cunt's pin dick while you're at it too fuckstick. I guarantee i've been riding longer than your mum farted your sorry ass out of her cottage cheese asshole so fuck off.

p.s. you call a GSXR750 a superbike? I call it learner legal in Australia cunt.

  • you think too highly of yourself

  • Great video. Practice makes perfect.

  • Do I smell calamari? You're hardcore squid.

  • That's how he scrubs in those pucks for props at his local Starbucks meetings. With an extension cord runin out the front door to heat up his tire warmers. Total meening of squid!!!!!!

  • Really.... you again? God damn it, yet another clown I have to put in his place. Ok, lets start off with this, why dont you post up something of yourself... ANYTHING? And than when youre done being all Tommy Tough Nuts on the internet you feel free to check out my race videos, track videos, stunt videos, street riding videos, my website and so on... ok, thanks, come again looser =)

  • Ah hi ^^ just a simple question can i put my knee down on a GS500??

(I have a Honda tornado 250cc dual sport bike and im really thinking about getting a bigger cc motorcycle to fit my riding style wich is way sportive for a trail bike)

  • Yes you can get knee down on a GS500. You can check out my video of me getting knee down on my GS500 (shameful self-advertisement lol)

  • @kingnothing3rd

    r6wheeler just got burned. lol

  • @kingnothing3rd Notice how he posted nothing back at all or anything.. Its cuz hes a pussy and just got stood up lol.. your vids are good man... Glad to see your not being a badass with no gear :P... I personaly thinks thats what makes someone a squid, is riding with no gear on...

  • @kingnothing3rd I feel you bro, noone who ever talks shit has their own riding vids. Way to keep your comment section in line, I enjoyed the vid, good music and great throttle control.

  • @r6wheeler

    Euh, NO

  • which tires?

  • not that impressive. Hell dude...youre hanging your entire ass off the bike. You dont need to move your butt more than 3 inches either direction for corners. Not bad though

  • Hey e-hero, lets see you put your knee down at less than 20mph in a consistent circle...

  • I can put my kneedown with my bike on its kickstand if I hang my ass completely off the bike like you do.

  • Ohhh... let see you back it up! Hell, why not post a video of you lets say on the street or track doing something than e-talking ;-)

  • @yakitoriPB you're supposed to hang your ass off, you dumbass. Post some videos before talking trash. Why the hell are you guys bashing this guy anyway?

  • @omamder5 shows how much you know. You should not move your ass more than a few inches in either direction. This dude is hanging way the fuck off just to put a knee down...and its messed up his body position. His head and shoulders are still centered over the tank, and it should not be. He needs to get it down the side and put his ass back up on the seat so he is not twisted like a pretzel. You should do some research on body position before trying to look smart.

  • ... the more off the bike the better, your totally wrong dude, you want your ass, your sholders and almost all of you off the bike.

  • you are incorrect. There is no need to move your butt over more than 1 cheek or about 3 inches in either direction. You should search Ty Howard body position with the ridesmart motorcycle racing school.

  • you want your ass over to one cheek (not an exaggerated hang off), your shoulders square with your hips and the handlebars, and your head down and chest down and out no further than your inside turning hand. You want to weight your inside peg in turns with your foot, and hang on with your opposite thigh on the tank. You want your hands to be unweighted on the handlebars as not to put any input in there. You want your nutts (or vaginia) up closer to the tank.

  • well done, some comments say your body position is wrong (your body is twisted) the only way to know for sure...... if you hbave a big highside wreck your body position was wrong

  • Que video de bosta!

  • that's the oldschool riding posture

  • im just gonna agree with everyone else. stop riding twisted.

check my knee down vid. 82 mph

  • Got my knee down for the first time last night and now im addicted its an amazing feeling, although i was going considerably faster than this guy :-)

  • How fast are you going

  • like ahundred = /

  • where i come from you have to do this knee touching the ground in order for you to pass the driving test,,,,otherwise you will fail and do it over & over again,,,,crazy instructor that is hahaha!!!

  • dude you need to lower your head to make you sit more evenly ( as you appear crooked) this will help you not have to lean the bike over so much :)

  • very clean

  • It would be really funny to see someone put some knee down on the dmv lollipop during a license test. LOL

  • @snowflowmfg My tutor said I looked a natural on the bike but I failed my 1st TWO bike tests. The first was admittedly my bad. Clutch control was shite turning off and I took a slightly wide line (but didnt cross the centre line). Tutor said it was harsh but couldnt really argue. Second time it was hammering it down with rain & i was riding on unfamiliar roads. Tester failed me for being too cautious. So on my 3rd and thankfully final test I fucked off and left him for dead! Passed with 2minors!

  • lol honk honk honk

  • Niiiice lol

  • thanks....

  • sloww but strong x

  • owh ok....

    i think i want to get a ninja 250r because i'm beginner...

i just starting to ride a bike with the 250r...then i will move on to cbr600...

what is your opinion about me?

  • sounds good.

  • TERRIBLE... your so twisted and bent... rubbish knee down

  • is that ninja 250r?

  • no that's a honda cbr 1000rr

  • fuuuck thats real slow ! nice ! 5*

  • i learnt the same way!! and roundabouts, it just gets easier the more confident u get

  • Man... I hope that is fresh water you are doing a burnout in at the end. Imagine what that salt water spray could/would do to your bike otherwise...!

  • This doesn't look good! Wrong bodyposition. You ride twisted. Get your ass back on the seat, and consentrate on letting your upper body fall "out". Knee comes later by it self

  • strong!

  • dope

  • I love this sound !

  • This looks awesome to practice... what is the easiest way to start this without dropping the bike?

I have a HUGE parking lot and would love to start doing controlled turns like this..

Your not going fast at all but it's controlled...

    Any tips or pointers?

    Thanks,

    -N

  • nice control,lovin the jet ski lol.peace

  • awesome

  • that soundtrack goes very well with the video dave...nicely done

  • that was a rainbow burnout!!! hahaha very nice man

  • To everyone that wants to know what this music is (The black eyed peas)Title They don't want music.

  • When practicing this in a parking lot where are looking towards?

Since there's no object in the middle to fixate on.

  • No, you can see im still looking through the turn to lead with my upper body, at one point i look at the camera guy but thats because i have my speed set and my lean angle with my knee down. Its always better to lead with your head and upper body.

  • the dude filming must of been pritty dizzy

  • Not bad. But try doing it around a hairpin at around 90/100 KM's an hour.

  • Whats with the pimp music?

  • how fast are you going in this video?

  • love the water sports , hehe n1

  • fuck me that's awesome

  • mmm... i just bought my 600rr, and never tought on practice that way before... nice tip

  • io-bots my hero ;)

  • Its not about tires, its about form, and less talk, more showing of you please ;)

  • wat's the music btw? groovy...

  • y do u have to get ur knee down?

  • You dont ride a sport bike do you...

  • which is why i'm sincerely asking. but yea i don't ride a sports bike. i intend to ride one in the near future though.

  • Getting the knee down is a myth for a lot of people . All this crap about knee dragging is stupid..the knee is just a guage for leaning and bp..if the knee drags then fine..but its not a must..if it happens it happnes ..its all about BP and speed...lean angle is just the by product of both

  • Mooi ding! Leuke waterburnout :P

  • very good, i loke the water thing ;-)

    what bike, r6?

  • Quality vid mate!!!!

  • You are one of the best drivers i know and that wheeling on the other vid. in 5th gear it is absolutely CRAZY!!!I watch that video every day..hope some day i will learn to wheelie like that myself..and dont listen to the losers that have seen a bike only on tv or here and leave you some shit comments fuckin chicken bitches!!

  • good skill but you scared of going more than 5mph???

  • yup! You should check the other videos i posted, the fastest i've gone is 7mph

  • called practice, butt fuck..

  • What the song name ?

  • I was digging on the song too. Found out that it's "They Don't Want Music" by the Black Eyed Peas.

    Enjoy!

  • Bardzo fajnie. In english - very nice. :D :)

  • Nice!!

    What gear are you in??

  • very good. Thought your boddy looked a bit twisted though. I think you should get your upper body further off the bike and down by the mirror then you could use even less lean angle.

  • Best one I,ve seen. Great

  • Nice in the water !! :D Must be hard to hold !! :|

  • Fucking sweet bike and very nice work. B-E-A-utiful rainbow and knee down :P

  • this guy may be the real deal hollifield

  • IMPRESSED BUT COULDN'T HEAR THE BIKE BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC (lose it!)

AND YOU MADE A PRETTY RAINBOW TOO - SWEET.

  • Did you get dizzy?

  • man thats fucking skillful stuff, nice one. and its not cheating at all!

  • Lucky you, i have to be doing 25mph at least to get my knee down on my SV650, then again i'm 5'7 lol.

  • Well, i can do this at 10mph and i've gotten it to almost 40mph in such a tight circle, Any faster and i have to go wider otherwise ill drag hard parts. And im only 5'8

  • sweet,

so that's how they make rainbows!

  • Well done, it's good to see nice clean knee-down.

  • burn out on a boat ramp is hot

  • cheating, wtf you talking about cracker?

  • yeah cheating but looks like fun :-)

  • Great stuff! LMAO

  • lol Hey that's cheating
