  • I finally saw Ghost In The Invisible Bikini (didn't know that it existed) & felt that it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. Granted, Annette, Frankie, & Bonehead were absent, among others, but there was still Harvey, Aaron, Tommy, Susan Hart, Bobbi, Deborah, along with Nancy, Piccola, The Bobby Fuller Four, Karloff, Rathbone, Jesse, & Patsy Kelly, etc. Buster Keaton had cancer, so he obviously could not perform. This was the most expensive & last beach party movie AIP ever produced.

  • I think this movie was OK as beach films go. It was FAR better than Ski Party, or even the first beach film. It has two classic horror stars in it too [Karloff and Rathbone]. It also has two great musical acts.

  • this music sound track has NOTHING in common with BF4 playing, like on their \FAB live El Paso 1963 LP on N... records. On that LP they prove they could outplay the British Invasion bands, incl. the Fab Four ( Beetels)I m a BF fan vintage 1966 style.

  • Is that really Bobby? Or his brother Randy?

  • Any video of Bobby Fuller Four is great.

  • I don't know why this didn't catch on...

  • This movie was so bad....BF4 saw the movie late March 66' at a drive-in theater in Grand Rapids,Mich. we got in just as they were closing, The guy in the box office said "we're closed!" and told him I had BF4 right here in the truck and he said "Of, the IFTL guys, prove it....Bobby stuck his head out the door and sang part of "IFTL" and the ticket guy said "Ya'll can go on in, , it's on the house!"

  • @bffour Rick, is it true that the BFF's music wasn't even used in the movie, that they lip synced someone else's music? It's pretty obvious that they aren't even playing the instruments (bet the studio didn't even let them keep 'em). Looks like a really sucky rip off of a '60's beach party movie - still I'd like to get a copy just to have some video footage of Bobby and the group...

  • @bffour Thank you! I love hearing about Bobby and the guys. Miss him so much.

  • aunt myrtle was gettin' with it:)

  • amazing they haven't made a movie about bobby fuller yet.

  • Him and Phil Ochs as well!

  • They're all squiggling about! I love it! When i was young i wanted a house like that mansion I fuggin loved it!! Still do.

  • What a great add for Vox. The guitar, organ Amp & bass. Bobby wouyld have never used 'em live. Fender Strat all the Way! Give the brit gear back to Boris & Basil.....

  • he was forced to mime this crap that wasn't even his and use Vox- a huge slap in the face I bet.

  • Good heavens indeed look at all that come and tush!

  • i hope when i die, this is were i go

  • Youth gone wild...pricelss!

  • What a fabulous bunch of young "sex hussy women" and young stud men, all shaking a THING. The start of a sex revolution for sure!

Love the fuzz guitar and driving beat. Pretty cool images of young California Beach and Sun culture from the early 1960's. This is just TOO COOL!!

  • Those conjugation tubes are out-a-sight.

  • shut up ya old bags--1966- i played uklayley-and i grabed the electric axe- and made tons of money-did you boys?

  • Old Basil Rathbone is wondering what he's got into!

How can anyone hate a movie which has Karloff, Rathbone AND Bobby Fuller?

  • Is that Dustin Hoffman at 1:05?

  • Thanks Puppy J..Nothing beats being there.;) I Just wish Bobby could have had a chance to put out a few more years of Music. California was so corrupt back in 66'....The cops hid all the details of his death and called it a suicide...what an insult!!

  • Whadda ya mean "was"? It's still corrupt as ever!

  • i want one too ! and a new lemon twist while were at it . lol

  • hahahaha... boris karloff and basil rathbone - truly perfect

  • That's Patsy Kelly (from "Rosemary's Baby") as Aunt Myrtle

  • BF4 are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's from the movie "Ghost in the Invisible Bikini" Bobby Fuller was duped into appearing in this movie thinking he would perform his own songs. Instead he was handed Vox equipment(he was a Fender man) and made to mime fuzz surf instrumentals and hawk Wham-O toys!

    Still fun though!

  • Thanks, Pup! You sure know your stuff; but may I ask, "how do you know so much"?

  • I guess it has something to do with being born and raised in Hollywood, Ca and hanging out as well as working in record shops all my life. Also worked on a show with Don Weiss, the director, back in the 80's and picked his brain about the movie or what he remembered of it.

  • Was this taken from a movie or a TV commercial?

  • ROFL.

    I want a Swing-a-ma-thing!

  • That guy is long dead.
