I've always got confuse with the translation for this film. Sesso Matto would translate to "Crazy Sex" but somehow it was translated to english "How funny can sex be?"
Which doesn't make sense because the Italian title is not put in a question form. Anywhoo, a great piece to listen.
You're right. A lot of times they would give a new English title to a film that was a really really loose translation, or an entirely different title they thought would lure audiences. It's very erratic.
Hmmm - anyone else notice the similarity between this and Manu Dibango's 'Soul Makossa'(which, according to Wikipedia, is regarded as one of the first disco records)? Which came first? Sesso Matto or Soul Makossa?
wow. I read just now, that it was even a disco classic. I almost want to watch the movie now, but I will settle for Ennio's awesome soundtrack. Thanks, sir.

The 'translation' of a title has little to do with actual translators and a lot to do with 'know-it-all'-Marketing folks

"Soul Makossa" came first. I thought this was a fun response to it that folks would enjoy.
