@Nime64 yeah, do it, i'll laugh a lot because a good musician is OPEN MINDED, and recognizes the soul in the music. I'm a pianist from France and perfectly know that... Let me see !
I'm divided, but I agree that Sarah's Violin is high and dry sounding. It's very clear and well suited for the faster songs, but I do think that she'd benefit from using a warmer sounding one for the slower songs. Either way, still awesome.
@pianostringss I don't know if it's just me, but I hear the same nasal, dry and a little bit metalic violin tone in this video too. However, I love Sarah's Four Season. I think that may probably be the best Vivaldi Four Season out there as far as I know. Much better than Joshua Bell's. He just didn't deliver on that one. I love Janine Jansen's Four Seasons too.
and people ask me why I continue to teach violin after 30 years..... I should send them this video. before I began taking lessons my mother insisted I play another instrument, one of several we had at home already. But there was no violin; it has the most soul I thought. before passing away, my father thanked me for introducing classical music to him.
I was just 17 Years Old as i became to know J.S.Bach´s Musik and his unbelievable Genius to underestand and compose classical Musik, however since that Time i became to know many of his Greatest classical Music Works;this Work is for me one of his most deepest and Beautifull Defination of cosmological Music, itt´s perhaps beyound our real Dimention in this Universe.Ican´t imagine to live without his Great Music.
"The title comes from violinist August Wilhelmj's late 19th century arrangement of the piece for violin and piano. By transposing the key of the piece from its original D major to C major and transposing the melody down an octave, Wilhelmj was able to play the piece on only one string of his violin, the G string." per Wikipedia
I love this piece since I was a child, it's impossible to discribe why I get these emotions everytime I hear that. Especially played by Sarah Chang, the sound she gets from her instrument is amazing.
@InDarknessLight Right? And I think it was originally written to be played as a solo with a piano accompaniment, but all you can find is with an orchestra. This is hands down the best version of Air I have ever heard. I got choked up listening to this for the first time.
@JavierVMaldonado And yet it touches the most sensitive strings of the cruel and inhumane reality In which survive on Millions of our beloved innocent and defenseless children and people In all our beloved planet Earth; Who suffer from hunger, injustice and abuse On hands of the insane and cowardly one, who wickedly "govern" this planet. A deaf song into unconsciousness of a few The pains of many are Javier
@Teaser318 lmfao youve never had one?! theyre the best its like 2 cookies i suppose with ice cream in the middle. but iget how you would think it would be somethin else;) too funny
Just don't get too chunky, Sarah. Hate to say it, but no more booty for you, unless you trim down. I want to be able to see those once lovely shoulders.
I like the violin version better than the piano version. The music sometimes makes me cry. I feel like it involves happiness and sadness in a girl's memory. And it ends with life's ending. But from the start, the girl never regrets her life.
To me Bach should be played with more withholding then this. For Bach, there's no need to emplify notes or emotions, it's actually supposed to be played a little "cold" coz the music does the emotion for itself. That's how Bach used to do it actually.
That being said, this is still insanely beautiful to listen to, really.
her beauty matches her music perfectly.

She's a great violinist, but I hope she changes her violin. Sounds very nasal and dry. I hope she uses the same kind Joshua Bell uses.
