It's a tubing mascara meaning it has "fibers" that attach on your lashes---similar to extensions.

I am using a Sony Cybershot and nope....it's not in macro. And yep, I am super close...the camera focuses when I get closer.

Your hair looks great! I love the Blink mascara as a waterproof mascara! I did a review of 3 tube mascaras a while back and its good to see another review of this one. I like that you showed how to take it off, I couldn't do that part. I do wish it added more volume too. :)
