I got this phone when it came out, 2 months later the touch screen started lagging and it kept restarting on its own. I replaced it and a few months later the touch screen stopped working completely, it restarted by itself, the silver lining started cracking, and it would take about 3 minutes for the phone to turn on. I did not "throw the phone around", i actually only dropped it about 3 times.
This phone sucks. It's nice at first, but over time the touch screen gets EXTREMELY unresponsive. The silver lining also cracked in several places. Just last week my inside screen stopped displaying anything. I was forced to go back to my old voyager. Avoid this phone. I don't treat my phones poorly at all and I had to get several of these replaced.
i got the iphone 4 now but i had this phone and it was and still IS the BEST basic phone in the markets. new basic phones keep getting cheaper and worse.
@TheMissdancealot12 this fone can not be put on prepaid plan i believe. i had this phone before i upggraded and i liked it. it is the most well rounded basic phone out there and if you treat it with care it could last you about 4 years of service.

I like this phone because of the texting feature of the full keyboard. The on-screen keyboard is always glitching out and doesnt work for me. It is very customer friendly, but has very many issues! If you are clumsy and drop things like i do, i don't recommend this phone. i drop it all the time and it isn't very good as well as protection. I've dropped it and it has gotten things like black screens, cracks, fuzzy screens, scratches on the camera lens, and it can also delete things like your pictures, music, etc. It's an all around okay phone. it is especially good for heavy texters as it also holds up to 240+. Sometimes you have issues receiving pictures and videos.
any newer phones with the same body? I like how it flips open sideways and the touch screen on the front, but all the new phones only slide open or just have a touch screen. I'd buy this phone but it looks like it's the same as the Voyager 1 and the OS on that was junk.

Do you have to PUSH the screen or just touch it. for example the blackberry storm, you have to push the screen in and it picks it up that way. or is like the iphone where you just have to touch it?

This phone is a PRETTY GOOD PHONE. NOT BAD. I took it on my trip and took GREAT pictures, however I accidentally smudged the screen. IT HAS NEVER SHUT OFF ON ME. However; yes, because of the two large screens, the battery dies. ALSO: The themes (only 2) get VERY boring. I hacked it and changed it. Not the best phone in the world, but has an excellent keyboard and overall I would give it a 7/10.

@LaPetiteArtiste Get the LG Ally. It has a slide up keyboard, it's designed very similar to the EnV Touch, but it runs Android. Awesome phone. I'm stuck with my EnV Touch until my contract expires. It resets itself every 2 days.
Trust me. Go witht he Ally, or get some kind of Droid.
guess what? I have had this phone for about a year now, and regret every bit of it. Not only does it reset itself, go completely white or completely black randomly, terrible bat life, but it also changes colors or appearance of screen when i unlock it, and unlock itself randomly when i dont want it to. oh and now the bottom right touch part of the screen doesnt work anymore. it sucks. got 2 software upgrds n a new bat n gettin a replacement soon.
I literally hate this phone.The touch screen is not responsive as much as other touch screen phones.The battery sucks so bad.Its not as user friendly as you think it would be.Its very blocky and doesnt fit your hand as well as you think it would.Although the keyboard is one of the best phone keyboards out there,its flip up,not slipe down.This gives it a cheap feeling,is not user friendly,and the screen on the inside is small.I would recomend the samsung reality than this cheap phone.
I have this phone and it's just okay. It resets itself whenever it wants, shuts itself off whenever it wants, goes on the internet and surfs around by itself, and unlocks and calls and texts people by itself. If you don't want to drain the battery, I suggest you don't take pictures or videos, listen to music, talk on the phone too long, go on the internet, or use any of the pre-downloaded apps.
I can't wait til my contract is up in 16 months. :)

this phone is ass it turns off buy itself and sometimes when you turn it back on it goes back to the settings whaen you first get it dont get this phone i had it for more than a year and i started hating it after a month allthough it might look nice for a month and looks perfect you will start regreting the decision of buying it

i was hesitant to get this phone but i love the env 2 and i wanted another touch screen. i got this phone today and let me say, it's amazing. the battery life is bad but the pros outweigh the cons. the touch screen is nice too. its a really cool little phone.

@LaPetiteArtiste Get the LG Ally. It has a slide up keyboard, it's designed very similar to the EnV Touch, but it runs Android. Awesome phone. I'm stuck with my EnV Touch until my contract expires. It resets itself every 2 days.
Trust me. Go witht he Ally, or get some kind of Droid.

guess what? I have had this phone for about a year now, and regret every bit of it. Not only does it reset itself, go completely white or completely black randomly, terrible bat life, but it also changes colors or appearance of screen when i unlock it, and unlock itself randomly when i dont want it to. oh and now the bottom right touch part of the screen doesnt work anymore. it sucks. got 2 software upgrds n a new bat n gettin a replacement soon.

You all complain about the battery, which can be solved throughout time and use.
The real problem is the phone itself. I havent had this phone for more than a year and its fucked in the ass. One of the reasons I switched to AT&T.

I literally hate this phone.The touch screen is not responsive as much as other touch screen phones.The battery sucks so bad.Its not as user friendly as you think it would be.Its very blocky and doesnt fit your hand as well as you think it would.Although the keyboard is one of the best phone keyboards out there,its flip up,not slipe down.This gives it a cheap feeling,is not user friendly,and the screen on the inside is small.I would recomend the samsung reality than this cheap phone.

I have this phone and it's just okay. It resets itself whenever it wants, shuts itself off whenever it wants, goes on the internet and surfs around by itself, and unlocks and calls and texts people by itself. If you don't want to drain the battery, I suggest you don't take pictures or videos, listen to music, talk on the phone too long, go on the internet, or use any of the pre-downloaded apps.
I can't wait til my contract is up in 16 months. :)

i have this phone it seemed good when i first had it then the phone would randomly turn off and reset all setting and the touch screen was junk it was almost impossible to use the touch screen to text and the battery life lasted half a day not even at full use

THIS PHONE SUCKS. I HAVE HAD IT FOR LIKE 7 MONTHS NOW AND HAVE HAD TO HAVE IT WORKED ON BY VERIZON TWICE. DONT GET THIS PHONE. I GOT IT AS A REPLACEMENT FOR ANOTHER PHONE I HAD THAT STOPPED WORKING TOO. GO FIGURE HUH!

@AllSmilesForever78 yeah its awesome although the env touch has more features, it hardly ever works so i think the reality is the best non-smart phone the only thing this has that i wish the reality has is a flash on the camera
