Well, I was brought up in a very 'proper' english household, so I have the textbook english accent that they had in those times, and have replicated in the film, but the vocabulary has changed somewhat, evolved in certain areas with the times... ^_^

Perhaps not (to your first question), but there are WORDS from 200 years ago which haven't changed meaning. 'Slay' still means to 'kill'. 'Save' still means 'apart' ('bring the bottles, save those which are broken'). Two words which have changed are 'without' and 'within'. In the old days, 'without' meant 'outside' and 'within' meant 'inside'. Only 'within' really holds that meaning today in Modern English.
