United existed until the late 1990's when Arriva bought the company.. On deregulation n 1986 the Northumberland operations were split off to form Northumbria and the Teesside operations late became Tees and District. However the rest of United survived well into the 1990s.

How old is the footage. I ask cos United Bus Company sadly ceased to exist in 1986 when dereg. reared its ugly head and private companies took over. I spent 28 years driving for United, first 2 years at Richmond depot the rest at Darlington. I enjoyed the video
