Those days are over with software that allows it now. The rest is just playing around with it till you break it, and that is good for Apple to sell more of them.

the thing you fail to realise is, if you use itunes to restore apple software, it will give you back your warranty, you can even restore any software in itunes aslong as you choose a genuine apple one. The people in the apple shop chat rubbish about it changing the internals, they are hard wired, you cannot change them with software, the only risk i have is that on mine i had to update the baseband, and this can void your warranty
