Why the fuck are people talking about lousy bands!? Everyone knows the crap floats to the top, always been that way in the music biz for the most part, their ARE exceptions of course. I mean for instance, the shirt ,Jasons, Roky Erikson... great, virtualy unknown, and another steal from Kember I imagine, Pete was doin "True love" in 92!. To play the Letterman show is pretty fuckin big, they've had lots of songs in movies. These guys have sold more records then any of those other bands mentioned.

I don't think he was dissing him. I think Dave felt overwhelmed and out of it after seeing that performance. Then he wasn't sure who's hand to shake first. That's why he said "Sorry I don't know what's going on. It's my first night here."

On to more important matters, Spiritualized are amazing. I love how he takes layers of musical simplicity and layers them, building them into something epic.
