The good wife and I were looking at this very guitar at Guitar Center last night and, since I have never played an electric or done any lead whatsoever, I was really curious how it sounds in the hands of a really accomplished musician. A customer there played a few minutes (2 or 3) on it for me, but young man, you have NAILED it. I'm going to buy one. Thanks for the demo!

That's worryingly amazing. A serious motivation for me to further dig into those scales! I have a 2010 in Faded Brown, just in. I can't get over how amazing it sounds, being a total bargain.
@AdamPotterblogmusic I am having the same problem w/ my Faded Cherry Studio band new and am going to have it looked at by warranty center, My pickups are supposed to be wax potted but the bridge has awful feedback loop regardless of what I do, the guitar also resonates oddly. Gibson's website has the directory of service centers.

I'm just getting back into guitar myself so I'm planning on practicing acoustic for a year to build up a good foundation and then it's on! Hopefully I'll be able to play like you one day!

@guitarpassion1 hmm.. before i practice half an hour a day.. but the thing is i get the feeling that "i want to" not practice because "i have to".. but nowadays, when i play i dont take notice on how long i play..i play according to what i feel.. sometimes an hour, half an hour, 45 mins.. it takes you lots of time if you're trying to figure out your OWN lick or lick from others.. nowadays im practicing on how to play slide guitar! ooo ok.. so mine's chambered then!
I got a question for u guys and I hope u can help me I have this Gibson studio but i wanna trade it for some other guitar like the kh-202 from ESP or other guitar but I'm not sure if I should do it and also I'm doing it cuz after all this time I've been playing it my bridge pick is having problems sound fades away some times it doesn't even make any noise at all or when I switch to neck then back to bridge is stops working but it happens not everyday and I'm tired of it any suggestions please h

Great demo! I have one of these in Mahogany. It's a really nice guitar. You didn't display it, so I'd like to mention also that this guitar is great for tapping, as most Les Pauls are. I've even been able to start doing tap melodies with multiple fingers on my right hand at the same time (I'm at righty), of course as well as two hand taps which are very easy. The stock strings that come on it are very good - they bend high and last. My guitar didn't need adjustments out of the box, even tuning.

Great demo! I have one of these in Mahogany. It's a really nice guitar. You didn't display it, so I'd like to mention also that this guitar is great for tapping, as most Les Pauls are. I've even been able to start doing tap melodies with multiple fingers on my right hand at the same time (I'm at righty), of course as well as two hand taps which are very easy. The stock strings that come on it are very good - they bend high and last. My guitar didn't need adjustments out of the box, even tuning.

@GuitarKylePlays thanks for watching anyway! this is more like to record my own progress in my playing! not as a REAL demo like PGS does it. i know how to demo stuff and i know you know that this isn't a real demo. with my strings, i have changed it because i don't like 10s because they sound thin it has 11s now. my gear now compared to my gear in this video is completely different now! and please take a look at my later videos if there are any improvements! thanks again! @acousticguitarist201 umm i dont know with the dealers of Gibson in the philippines.. i wouldnt know because im in australia now.. but check out yupanco.. they have good guitars there and i think ive seen some gibson guitars there... it'll be pretty expensive when you buy one in philippines though O_o!

Your solos are far from perfect but i have yet to hear someone play so soulfully on youtube.
