Does anyone know which showing of the monkey king this is? Like where is it, who put it on, what was it called, who was the director etc. (any way to contact the director?) Are there other videos on you-tube that were the same production? And what do the costumes, masks, movements etc all mean?
The Monkey King was born from an egg of stone and was bestowed with a staff that can change shape to whatever size he wishes. Or something. Watch the show from the 1970s
