@MPL029 I've heard that. They taped all five shows in one day and had breaks between each with drinks and food. Naturally by day Friday they were a lot looser and it would show as I recall. The guest panelists were allowed to drink alcohol. That's why this show got exceptionally humorous at times.

@calalilygirl Well, when they added Match Game PM to the lot, it became six tapings, five for daytime and the PM for the last taping. And you're right about the fact that they get more and more loose as the tapings go along!!!

You're welcome. Well, I got hooked on WML? a few years ago and I did tape quite a bit. After those wonderful WML re-runs were stopped, I saw which programs she guested on that are airing now, such as Match Game and Password, and every so often I luck up and find her appearances.

I sure didn't know a film was being made about her...Dorothy, yes, but I had no clue about Arlene. Where did you read that a film was being made about Arlene?

Jackie Sanders Hayes made a documentary about Arlene. There was an article in TVWeek a while back that mentioned it, and Liz Smith referenced it in one of her columns. I wish it was available on dvd!
