The German (Thüringian, like Qntal's members) minstrel, Heinrich von Morungen, had written the words to this. He died in either 1220 or 1222. It's a testament of a knigh's love for an elf maiden whose female wiles he has become enchanted by & can never leave. Although I appreciate Brian Froud's treatment, the song is actually decidedly tragic in tone, in the context of unrequited love ~ (•8-D

Hahaha. What's needed here is a knowledge exchange. I love engines but couldn't build one. I make SOFTWARE engines - not much more involved than thinking and typing - but hardware... Things like the iPod are designed to appear to be doing more without our intervention. Profoundly disturbing.
