How fast is it and how short are the clippers? Could the clippers get even closer? Does it hurt while clipper shearing? Are most guys nervous to watch it happen right before they get their heads buzzed? Also, can the public watch USMC bootcamp haircuts?
@PAFlattop How do the clippers feel? Depends on how many heads are done between spray lube and how fast the barber is going. The clippers they use now are crap compared to the 'ole external motor ones. You are almost razor close. No the public can not get anywhere near recruits. Regular Marines can not interact with recruits if they have no official capacity. If you are this worried, Marine Boot Camp will chew you up and spit you out.
@PAFlattop my friend if i was you i would seriously seriously reconsider joining because marines is one of the most mentally challenging things you will ever do in your life and ofc physicially but about 90% of it is mental and if you can not take the mental stress then ur shit out of luck because once you sign those papers you are in...and their have been people that could not take the stress and litterally shot themselfs while in bootcamp.... so think about it
@methistopholes uh cuz i know quite a few people that have been threw the marine corp boot camp and they have told me storys about wht has happined there, and about the mental part well... when they make yu run 10miles or so if yu start to wear out durin lets say 5miles yu half to keep tellin urself i can do it i can do it because thats the mental part because ur brain tells yu to stop but ur body can take 100x more than wht yu think it can ... and also im joining very very soon i already have

Word of advice keep your hair. i't will be painfull getting your hair cut but its not that bad and you don't want to be singled out the first few days your going to want to blend in as best you can. Unless you like having special attention like a few thousand more push ups sit ups up downs mountain climers you name it

i know marines have to get hair shaved while in bootcamp but after they leave boot camp are they aloud to grow it back or do they have to keep it shaved?
