i let them get really close then open my umbrella!! hhaaaaaaa......... Make sure ur umbrella is wet!! so when u open it, all the water splashes onto their face.... it's so funny
There was one that lives near my friends house and i was riding past and i heard this flapping sound so i turned around and there it was, a giant magpie It knocked me off my bike and I was on the ground and it was repeatedly attacking me. I was screaming HELLP! SOMEBODY HELP ME! my friend found heard me and He scared it with a stick so I hopped on my bike and about 40 metres away I saw it coming. I was paralysed with fear and rode as fast as I could SCARY

once i had 4 of them attacking me at once... i nearly lost an eye to one of them. This year i'm going to buy a cap gun and set it off every time one of them gets close to me
Australian magpies are not the same as Northern ones. Totally different - and would rip you to bits. They're clever too...

Getting swooped by a magpie is so scary!
