  • The KJVO myth is phony as a football bat. Its current edition is derived from a CULT OFFICIAL'S book, that book being "Our Authorized Bible Vindicated"(1930) by Dr. Benjamin Wilkinson, a 7TH DAY ADVENTIST official. And there's NOT ONE QUARK OF SCRIPTURAL SUPPORT for the KJVO myth. That alone renders it FALSE.

  • 50 million Martyrs gee I don't think their were that many people in the protestant countries then. I wonder how many Catholics King James and King Henry V111 had murdered

  • @martlut

You promote a pseudo pagan/christian denomination (Roman Catholicism) and defend superstitions and man-made doctrines. I promote no denomination and defend only the pure words of the Lord. Compare a 1611 ed. AV to one printed today and you'll find no textual changes. You said that the Latin Vulgate is "the Bible still used by the Roman Catholic Church." Fact: the NAB is the Bible most recommended and used by your church today. Here's an example of just one of many textual changes made

  • @martlut

in your church's official Bibles: Matthew 1:25 "And he knew her not till she brought forth her first borne sonne"(Latin Vulgate/Rheims 1582); "And he knew her not till she brought forth her first born son"(Latin Vulgate/Douay-Rheims 1899); "He had no relations with her until she bore a son"(NAB 2002). Note the change from "first born son" to "a son." Your church does not deny that "first born" is the true reading. But to accommodate her man-made doctrine she changed the text.

  • Since you quote the 1611 AV translators in their original preface, read on,

"even before the faith of CHRIST was generally embraced in the Empire... the godly-learned were not content to have the Scriptures in the language which themselves understood, Greek and Latin... they provided translations into the vulgar for their countrymen, insomuch that most nations under heaven did shortly after their conversion hear CHRIST speaking unto them in their mother tongue... by the written word translated."

The number of people living on the earth in any given year is not static; there are births and deaths. For the 600 year period from 1198 to 1798 50 million is a very realistic number. Your pro-Roman-Catholic bias is undoubtedly affecting your reasoning and ability to be impartial. The other 28 comments you posted are equally unqualified.

  • Read the Wycliffe bible lately if you did you would throw it onto the Garbage just like the Catholic Church, with all his additions deletions and personal additions to scripture, Just like the first protestants did with each others bibles.

  • To be versed in history is to cease to be Protestant. ... It's about being intellectually honest - to oneself and to God.

  • 8TH CENTURY,THE FIRST TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE IN TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE: By Aldhelm, the Bishop of Sherborne, and Bede. A 9th century translation of the Bible in to English (Anglo-Saxon the dialect of its time) was made by Alfred. A tenth century translation in to English was made by Aelfric.(7) , By 1361 a translation of most of Scripture in the English dialect (Anglo-Norman) of its time had been executed. This was twenty years before Wycliffe's 1381 translation

  • 405 A.D. THE FIRST TRANSLATION OF THE COMPLETE BIBLE IN THE COMMON LANGUAGE: Latin Vulgate, the Bible still used by the Roman Catholic Church, was translated by St. Jerome (Whom the translators of the 1611 Authorized Version in their original preface called " a most learned father, and the best linguist without controversy, of his age, or of any that went before him").

  • Pope St. Damasus I, at the Council of Rome in 382, issued a decree appropriately called, "The Decree of Damasus", in which he listed the canonical books of both the Old and New Testaments. He then asked St. Jerome to use this canon and to write a new Bible translation which included an Old Testament of 46 books, which were all in the Septuagint, and a New Testament of 27 books.

ROME HAD SPOKEN, THE ISSUE WAS SETTLED.

  • There are always three sides to every story, this side, that side, and the side of truth. Whether Jerrome's position, or Augustine's position was the correct position, had to be settled by a third party, and that third party was the Catholic Church.

  • By the Way Jerome didn't want to Include the so called apocrypha books..Learn your history.. One of the most famous was between St. Jerome, who felt the seven books were not canonical, and St. Augustine who said they were

  • By the way the 15 heretical counts were not against Jerome they were against Origen.

  • These Books the Catholics call 'Deuterocanonicals'. They are, Baruch, Judith, Sirach, Tobit, Wisdom, and 1 and 2 Maccabees. They also include parts of Daniel and Esther and Psalm 102. There are many other books, called Apocrypha, by Catholics that are not considered inspired. I believe Protestants merely put those 7 books in the same pot and called them all Apocrypha.

  • This was done because the Hebrew Language was dead due to Alexander the Great . The Jews Spoke Koine Greek and needed a translation of the Hebrew Old Testament Called the Greek'Septuagint', also called LXX. In the common Langauge of the Day Koine Greek

  • The Septuagint is the Old Testament translation into Greek from Hebrew also called the 70 named after the 70 Rabbis who translated the Greek'Septuagint' from Hebrew to Greek and it had all 46 books including the Deuterocanonicals.

  • The Council Of Jews at Alexandria 225 BC . 70 Rabbis Translated the Bible into Greek from Hebrew. All of the Rabbis did this independently from each other and came up with the identical translation of the Old testament cannon which contained all the Books of the Apocrypha

  • you dont know too much about any Bible do you

  • The KJV translators most directly relied upon the 1598 Greek text by the Theodore de Beze of Geneva,

  • gee it seems you have fallen into error about the TR, the TR primarily resulted from the work of a Dutch Roman Catholic priest and Greek scholar by the name of Desiderius Erasmus, who published his first Greek New Testament text in 1516

  • Did you Know Jerome s Latin Vulgate was also used to translate the KJV

  • did you know that not till the bible society (Scottish) in the 1800's were the books of the Dutero canonical were removed from the KJV they were in an appendix till then

  • Humm the Apocrypha books are 95% of the books contained in the dead sea scrolls

  • gee I still cant get an answer to this one what is the name of the bible that was put together into one book in 100 ad that contained all the books of the bible we have today..

  • gee i guess you forgot the so called inquisition were a secular activity that were condemned by the catholic church

  • I guess the KIng James guards forgot about Richard Thomson, who worked on Genesis-Kings in the Westminster group, was "led by God in translating" even though he was an alcoholic that "drank his fill daily" throughout the work? [Gustavus S. Paine -- "The Men Behind the KJV" Baker Book House/1979/pgs. 40, 69]

  • Most Jewish rabbis condemned the dutero canonical try 7 rabbis hell the Jews today don't even claim that

  • the TR primarily resulted from the work of a Dutch Roman Catholic priest and Greek scholar by the name of Desiderius Erasmus, who published his first Greek New Testament text in 1516. The first edition of Erasmus' text was hastily and haphazardly prepared over the extremely short period of only five months. (ibid., page 106) That edition was based mostly upon two inferior twelfth century Greek manuscripts, which were the only manuscripts available to Erasmus "on the spur of the moment"

  • .

Evodius was the first Bishop of Antioch a Catholic, and he is credited with being the first person to call the followers of Christ, "Christians", as shown in Acts 11:26. See Eusebius, book 3, chapter 22.

Saint Ignatius (35-107), the second Bishop of Antioch wrote a letter to the Smyrneans in 107 A.D..

  • Gee who was the church that gave you the bible you read from although alterd by protestants in the 1800's and were the first to say they were inspired.. Did you know the KJV is a translation of a translation of a translation and not is the inspired word.. Seems like you are accursed..

  • I guess you never herd of the Council of Alexandria the Jews held In 325 bc yup the dueturo cannonicals they wrote them.. gee how did the Catholics add something that was scripture that was already considered Scripture..

  • Gee If the Duetero canonical's were added to the Bible How was it that Luther Deleted them from his Bible seems like he is preaching another gospel not to mention the other Books such as James he wanted to delete as well

  • It would be great to learn more about the who, what, why, when for the establishment of the KJV & any relationship to the Holy spirit ensuring authenticity. THANKS

  • What else would you like to know?

  • @edwardpf123,

You blocked me from posting any comments on your channel and videos. You then come and post on my video. You do know what the Bible says about hypocrisy, don't you?

"Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy." Luke 12:1

  • I blocked you because you were spamming me with nonsense.

I supported this video. So there is no hypocrisy.

  • @edwardpf123,

I never "spammed" any your videos. You blocked me because I exposed your fallacious unconditional eternal security doctrine. You do know what the Bible says about liars, don't you?

"all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire" Rev. 21:8

  • And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.JOHN 10:28

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand...JOHN 10:29..

thats the promise of Jesus...GOD'S WAY OF SALVATION...
