By the way, I dunno if this is an accident or not, but when talking about the movies, it seems like you are talking about two completely different movies when you talk about the Lana Lang relationship and segue into the third movie with Richard Pryor. It implies there is an additional movie between Superman 2 and Superman 3.

Ok, I can't really disagree with anything you've said here. But the Superman saga is all about those silly little minuet details that get swept under the rug. That's what gives it it's unrealistic and coincidental charm.

Besides, Superman isn't really relevant anymore. Who wants the perfect invincible hero nowadays? NOBODY. That's why Batman & Spiderman have been getting so much attention lately-they have very obvious and relatable flaws.

Yeah you pretty much showed the big reason why I'm a Batman fan. superman does similar crap in the comics and never really seems to have his head on right. "Promote peace through the world!" I love how Joker AND Lex have come closer to killing Superman than he ever has to Batman.
