The movie is like 75% pure bullshit, 20% fluff and CG and about 5% truth (mostly the social engineering and phreaking). Unfortunately there isn't a lot of choice because real hacking/cracking largely consists of mono-spaced text in a terminal window. Nobody would pay to see a movie of that.
