  • The edition is great!!!!!!!

  • Sorry to say, but you have great material, and terrible taste :|

  • Nice work! Question: How are you incorporating your transitions concerning your stills and their progression ( process) video - motion ? I don't see much I can't figure out. But that is something I haven't figured out! Would love to know how you did it! Thanks;..Nice work!

  • Those are amazing. I love your effects.

  • very nice work there. i am just begining to get into photography but instead of starting off with a beiginner SLR style camera, i will probably begin with something a little more advanced and go from there. I have been looking at the Canon T1i and wanted to ask if you think thats a good choice. i have heard many good things about this camera from many beginners so i am leaning towards it. if you think there is something in the same price range but better, please feel free to let me know.

  • EXCELLENT! i'm adding you!

  • excellent work my friend you have a bright future

  • This is sick!! Great stuff!! How long have you been doing all this?

  • I wondered if i can make such edits with gimp?

  • yep. im sold...i want this camera really bad! loooove ur pics btw(:

  • fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! possibilities are infinite. xxx

  • fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how do you make them so cool colors like this?

  • damn...RLY good postprocessing !!!

  • Ahh...You use the beep to count you in using the self timer. Neat.

I have got to spend the time to learn what and how to Photoshop like you. I love that unreal effect your shots have. If ever you come to the UK look me up.

  • I can't find anywhere where you explain how you trigger the d700. You can't use a remote trigger that I can see as your hands are open in some shots (unless you use some other part of your body-the mind boggles). The timing is too critical in a some of the shots for you to guess when the shutter is going to fire (but not impossible with enough attempts). Have you figured a way of firing multiple shots with the self timer? Great vision and boundless imagination. Thanks.

  • I love your editing, especially the sky with stars 0:35 here, what effects did you use?

  • This is excellent! It's brave work. Most people wouldn't push the colors that hard and that's what makes you stand out! Your selections are very very good as well. Such lovely gradience between Highlights and Shadows. Gotta love the D700!

  • dude.... this is the best album i've ever seen, the edition, music and the pic you chosen, pic i like the most is the kick in the sand, great job man :D i had to add to favorites

  • wow man some great photos love the "kicking sand" beach shot , some of the best portraiture iv seen

  • Great ! I see some Chase Jarvis in there !

I'm not a great fan of the photoshopped sky's however. And some are a bit to much shopped.

But some great poses and compositions.

  • Awesome job!!!!

  • Nice photos mate!! Keep working!!

  • Yep hope you got an A+.

BTW nice collection of jealous trolls you got..

  • How the heck do you get so good at photography/ image processing/compositing at such a young age!!! Most people don't get this good till they have years and YEARS of experience but by then their fresh, young minds are stale:/

Your photography is amazing and inspires me.

  • Good StuFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!

  • mate, your sky edits are epic. please tell us how to do them :) nice work

  • Both really great photography and processing.

  • I love my D700. Been doing similar things - but very well done presentation here. Notice that a lot of it is low light and the D700 means you can pull out the details in post-processing that you can do just about better than any other camera. D700 rules!!!

  • Nice post processing work....nice composition too!

  • Picture at 0:23, how did you do that enhancement? it looks awsome! Can you share your secret pls?

  • How did u get those effects

  • wOW AMazing photos!!!!!

  • @xdynomiteclayx your opinion matters most

  • @xdynomiteclayx lol thanks

  • i like these photos. but why do you need a d700 just to make a bunch of edits? couldn't you do this with any nikon?

  • @loupremo you don't need a d700 to take pictures like this, any camera could do the same :P

  • yo dawg, i hear you have some pretty decent photoshop skills

awesome shots btw, its good to know that people aren't fuddling around with the tech and instead creating awesome shots with awesome lighting.

    my webby -> jinsleyphoto

  • Everything is excellent and great post-processing work! Your creativity is very inspirational! Thanks for sharing this.

  • @PlanetJyro thank you so much! :P

  • @414mkt combination of photoshop and lightroom

  • very cool, i was wondering where i can learn to do extreme touch up like yours online. im using the beast d700 also :D

  • ive been following you on flickr for awhile and you always impress! Keep doing what you do! :)

  • @devonly2 thanks a lot!!!

  • agreee with the other dude with the pics being a little corny but i respect the picture editing and photo composition with each picture

  • If you truly hated what you saw and heard you wouldn't bother posting! Some people thrive on being a-holes. I'm not big on editing images either but I can't deny that the end result of these images was pretty awesome. You've a got a bright future! Keep it up Pippo....and I must admit that I envy your editing skills, I'm not even a fraction as good :[

  • Really nice vid.... I like your transitions from one process to another to another showing your range of understanding the digital darkroom. And fun portraits too!

I don't understand what the anti digital crowd is so worked up about. This was a photo class project not an exhibit for the local fine art gallery..... in case the photography snobs failed to notice these were mostly portraits and casual ones at that. Sheesh..... the world is full of critics!!

    Nice work Pippo.

  • @oceandrew thanks alot!, it's basically just a hobby, my personal work :P

  • Awesome awesome awesome....

  • Isn't exactly "Photography", but you had some nice results with photoshop. Quite cool.

  • @Munki6 i'm pretty sure this is photography

  • very nice!

  • Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing!

  • Idk why people are being so rude. I like your pictures AND the editing. Everyone should keep the negative comments to themselves.

    THREE thumbs UP. suck it.

  • @sexandcandy haha thanks

  • i do love ur style and believe there is nothing wrong in altering reality to sharp it into what We want it to be...its not product photography so it does not have to b exact...my respect to ur creativity

    Slava

  • @yachuda thank you really appreciate it! :D

  • Annoying music. Tacky photos. Nothing special at all. Two thumbs down.

  • @porterlouis LOL

  • @porterlouis why bother posting if you hated everything?

I wish I could edit a fraction as well as you do dude! Good job.

  • These would be really good photos to be used as advertisements, but as photography as an art form, I'm personally not that keen.

  • maybe they're born with it, maybe it's photoshop nice camera

  • nice PS skillz... :)

  • maybe they're born with it, maybe it's photoshop

  • How did you work with these photos? On photsohop?? wich one?

  • awesome shots, what did you use to edit them?

  • Wow. These are great. I really like your PP techniques!

  • Pretty good post processing dude... but the photography and composition is really lacking.

Keep going though.. You have potential.

  • Amazing work, bro. Wish I was this talented!

  • Amazing pics....

  • There are no rules in photography. This is creative, entertaining and takes a hell of a long time to do. You make it what you want. I love it. Great work Pippo!!

  • Awesome stuff! Looked at your flickr. Really really awesome photos.

  • dude, you have some madd photoshop skillz. like, making the color of his shirt change colours.... just epic..... im assuming you desaturated it and then added a overlay layer with the colour...

  • @Photomagigger my site google jordan insley photography

  • @Photomagigger my site google jordan insley photography

  • nice, subtle, 45% pure post production, love it!

  • Great work!!

  • Well done, great editing and well put together.Cheers.

  • Nice work dude. Don't listen to the vulgar comments by some of these people.

  • You suck, why do you bother to have a nikon d700. an lots of your photos your tripod appers in them, you veredit everything on photoshop and make some nice pics awfull. you will never have a photography carrer if you do that maybe editor or illustration but not photography. they say the good photographer is the one who least edits his photos.

  • @unnamed3431 Whoever says "that" is wrong. Photographs have been edited for as long as emulsion has existed. I used extensive dodging and burning, and contrasting filters while doing bw hand prints. With colour hand prints i used to mess with the saturation and colour balance. Only difference today, is that i use Adobe Lightroom instead of a darkroom - The results are instant and I have an undo key. The good photographer is the one who takes the good photo - The method is irrelevant ...

  • @nzsims i agree, and thanks for your thoughts!

  • great PP although some females wouldn've been nice

  • Looks good, I wish I could do what you have done, I will just have to stick windows movie maker! lol

  • really successful! how to edit pictures like you did? what software do you use? pleaseeee tell us :)

  • dude your stuff is off the hook. you gotta share some tips on your photoshop techniques!! Good stuff bro!

  • I love you work... you're flickr account is awesome. You really should start a blog with lighting tips and using the D700 features. And let us know what you use to edit these!!

  • wow really cool !! great job :)

  • then you should stop looking at pictures in general, cause all pictures you see, including fashion, landscape, etc., all are altered by computers....in many ways

  • agree with you on everything. a photo ain't done before it has been editied. ( at least thats what i think)

  • @PippoWasHere lol yeah, don't worry about drake... obviously he doesnt know much about commercial photography.

anyway pippo, from your style and post, i can tell that you will make it as a great commercial photographer, that is, if thats what you want.

    good stuff
