  • I was thinking of picking up the stick/throttle X52, would you recommend it? It will be my first ever setup ~ could you recommend something else if you don't recommend the X52?

  • @ReddSouljah

I havent bough anything else. What simulatation is it intended for ?

If it is Helicopter simulation I would recommend something from

    flightlink

  • I have the same problem with my pro flight yoke and combat rudder pedals. I'm returning them. I tired to get help from saitek and the forum is locked by the administrator so I can't even register.

  • Buddy!! You just saved me a lot of money!! Thanks for sharing that quick fix, I am now a relieved ArmA pilot!!

    Brian :)

  • saitek sucks shit all round ...ive emailed them hundreds of times about their faulty drivers and software but get no replies.i will never buy another saitek cotroller or steering wheel ever and i suggest to anyone to do the same

  • The problem is not with Windows 7, but with the cable that goes from the throttle to the joystick, you have to press extra hard into the joystik before it centers, but some times it can be a bit difficult to getting to work as it should.

  • i can't even install the driver without it saying "Error Executing the Program"

  • This video just shows the problem? That's really stupid...

  • i have a problem with my evo x; thedriver wont work on my computer. when i first downloaded it it worked but as soon as i closed it it would never open again and restarting and even reinstalling the driver has not been able to fix it... solution anyone?

  • i've got the same problem with saitek evo and it pisses me off... there is not a calibration feature so that i can center the stick... i can not play FSX because the airplane keeps turning right... I uninstalled the drivers 100 times I reinstalled all the newest drivers and i still have the same problem... don't know what to say

  • i have the same problem mate, when flying the elevators stay up, found a solutuin yet?

  • this happens to all joysticks after every maybe 10 or 20 start-ups on your pc. it really is no biggy, just restart ur pc

  • @RobertDamli

I use this stick on Win 7 (64 Bit) and it works fine.

I use the Win7 drivers provided by Saitek on there webside.

  • I ve got the same Joystick but I dont know why but I cant use the X axis......... can you help me??

  • @adricj Hey I havew the same problem as you. Your comment is 7 month old, did you get to solve the problem? :(

  • are you sure that the problem is not your saitek? i've seen problems like this with other OSs and joinsticks.

  • @pgrmonteiro

If I connect the joystik to a windows xp for the first time it gets reset somehow, so when I put it back to the windows 7 machine again its temporary fixed for a week or something, when it happens again I need delete the registry keys on the XP machine and plug in the X52 again, so it again gets reset. Its totally weird..

  • @Glitchi

try unplugging and plugging the throttle-stick cable for reset. Sometimes i have the same problem and i do it just in flight.

Anyway, saitek quality is really bad for this price.I have so much rouble with mine too. Never gonna buy it again.

  • did you put it on the XP mode
