To be honest I get bored with the same patterns in music, repetitive simple rhythms and familiar sounds.. once in awhile it is nice to escape into the more abstract music.

The beat in this tune is "implied". It's hard to detect, but it's there. Implied beat is something more at home in classical music than it is in modern electronic stuff, but it can be cool if you give it a chance :)

That said, I think hecq has gone to the edge of my perceptual ability with this song and I cannot yet grasp it fully. Perhaps further listening is warranted!

this song really had some potential in the beginning. it could have really developed the ambient sounds and darkness to it. But no beat dropped and there was no rhythm. If you want an artist who can make tunes out of noises like this look at flying lotus, in particular his new song 'recoiled'.

Music is either ideas and/or emotions the producer expresses , it doesnt have to have a meoldy ,but as manowar said it does have a pace.

@xTeamNeonx Music doesn't have to be danceable. Don't get me wrong, dancing gets me high, but this is some beautiful music. Also, this song does have a pacing to it. Listen for it.
