Pretty, Mini Skirted, but 'not very bright and I haven't got my glasses on'. Clearly their doing a parody of the classic and much loved early 1970's Jon Pertwee (i.e. 3rd Doctor) companion 'Jo Grant' as played by the adorable Katy Manning.
There can't be a Russell T Davies connection because the doctor isn't getting all shouty and doing a tedious self-righteous Queer As Folk style monologue.

Davies has based all his current ideas for Dr WHO from the 1st series of Jon Pertwee episodes - why any Dr Who fan hasnt brought this up is beyond me - it's "screamingly" (gay pun) obvious
Thanks can someone please upload the song ' I don't need you' by Victoria Wood from the as seen on tv specail 1987 thanks

Jim Broadbent's played the Doctor b4 in a comic relief episode back in 1999. Although very briefly.

This is great. I have a book of VW sketches and they are the stuff of legend :-)

I think Russell T Davies has based all his episodes on this sketch.
