I like the first few seconds of this video. "A Wolf Team Presents" So a team of volves is presenting this game to us. Wow, cool! That's so freakin' awesome! I wonder why a team of volves was choosen for that assignment, and not a team of elephants. :)

Sorry about that. I probably didn't read through my comment before I posted it. I complain about Wolf Team's English, and I can't even spell "wolves" correctly. Now isn't that ironic, haha. Oh well, I still think it's a different thing when it comes to a game software manufacturing company. Their game is going to reach maybe millions of gameplayers worldwide, so you would expect them to at least double-check their English before releasing the game.... right?

Time Gal was first released for the arcades in '85. In 1989-1990 SEGA and Pioneer had a Laser Disc add on project going on for Mega Drive called "Mega Drive LD" the project was cancelled in mid 1990, but Pioneer still released what was leftover for Mega CD.

Well to be honest the Mega CD version is inferior due to it not being laserdisc as in the original arcade game, this is also in the times where arcade games WERE more powerful than console games.

Wolf Team had to redraw each frame just to put it on Mega CD. It wasn't until the Playstation version where the graphics pretty much retained their original quality.

So yes, for '92 on a 16-bit console this ISN'T bad for what they could do. Sorry Akatsuki but you just been pwned back :P

Rom editions have the tracks in mp3 or wave format already since that is the only way the sound will work unless if it's a multidisk with different games on it in that case the music is programmed in because they are 3 or more MD cart games transfered onto a disk.

As I'm living in Tokyo, I thought I could find a Mega-CD (the first one) easily, but it seems it's really collector, and when you find one, it's almost 50.000 yens... Very expensive. So I guess I won't soon listen to the song of Time Gal (and another Mega-CD games' ones...) on my own. But I really like Time Gal, and that's why I remembered lyrics before reading them on the animation.

And that's why it was my pleasure to translate it...

Yeah, it was difficult finding a Mega CD here in Europe. I usually found it for over £50 (6,631 yen) and it came with a Megadrive, but I was lucky enough to find one on its own for £21 (2,785 yen) so keep searching!

The one I had and used to play "Time Gal", "Ranma nibun no ichi byakuran'aika", "Mahou no Shoujo Silky Lip" and other good games I still love, I've bought it 200 francs in a shop on 1996 (around 3900 yens) but decided to sell it few years later for 150 euros (20000 yens) with games because of problems of money. No I regret but I had no choice. That's why, yes, I'm keeping searching. I won't give up !!
