If you will look at Frazer's "Golden Bough" he explains that for a sacrifice to be accepted it must go willingly to it's death. You have it all wrong. Not believing in God is not the reason you go to hell. The reason people go to hell is because they have sinned. The offering of the first-borns in Exodus, were never sacrificed. A sin and burnt offering (of an animal) were done in their place. Later on the Levites replaced the first-borns (see Numbers 3:40-51 and 8:5-26) but they too weren't sacrificed (look at Numbers 8:12). It was all symbolic to show God they put him first.
In regards to 1 Peter 2:18, I should really start by saying no-one was supposed to treat a slave cruelly (there were rules for slave owners; Leviticus 25:35-55 take special note of verse 43 and 53). But Peter was talking about how the slaves should live faultlessly (even if their masters weren't). It's an attitude shift from 'eye for an eye' to 'love your enemies' because ultimately the slave's servitude was done for Christ and not the slave owner.
In response to 1 Timothy 2:12, that just looks like a method imployed by Timothy (he did grow up in a time when prophetess' were similar to prostitues so Timothy could have done it for their safety). It certainly doesn't say that others should follow in his example. The preceding verse says "let a woman learn by listening quietly and being ready to co-operate in everything". That means being ready to co-operate in teaching as well.

That is God talking directly. I don't know why he didn't condemn slavery. But I do know, from Leviticus 25:35-55 that people only sold themselves (or family members) as slaves if they were too poor to support themselves. And in the same passage it says the slave owner must not be cruel to the slave. Maybe slavery was a last resort option for people in those times to avoid homelessness? It was for a fixed period anyway - they were freed by Jubilee. God doesn't approve of rape.

That quote from 1 Kings 13:1-2 about Josiah being born and destroying the altar. It's in 2 Kings 23:15-16. The bones that get burnt on the altar are from graves, so it's not a human sacrifice. I'll concede that Josiah does kill the pagan priests later on but it doesn't say they were a sacrifice to God.

Not really. First of all, a mother does not give her child life. She is responsible for providing half of its DNA, and sustaining it in her womb (which her body does involuntary anyway because of how God designed her body). God on the other hand gives the embryo its soul, and has complete authority over that life (just as God has authority over all creation). Killing is wrong because we don't have the authority to end someone's life because we didn't create it (God does).

The case of the identical twins just seems to prove God's involvement in the life of a person more rather than make it fall flat. The soul does not come from the zygote. So, it is perfectly acceptable for a zygote to divide and create identical twins (physiologically) who are also uniquely different spritually, because God gives each twin a unique soul. The twins don't share one soul. Just like they don't share one personality.

Also, God is a God of love. But God is not a push-over. God hates sin. God demands that we live perfect, holy lives (a demand that a sovereign God should be allowed to make), and when we rebel against God it angers God. If you will look at Frazer's "Golden Bough" he explains that for a sacrifice to be accepted it must go willingly to it's death. After the sacrifice has been accepted then the tribe or nation would have peace and prosperity. It is interesting that after the crucifixion the world has never had any real peace. I also see nothing in the writings of the church fathers that imply a belief in the re-incarnation. @supermanuman95 Hi, allow me shed some light on those 'messed up' quotes. I'll have to do in parts because of the character limits. Sorry. I'll start in reverse order.
The offering of the first-borns in Exodus, were never sacrificed. A sin and burnt offering (of an animal) were done in their place. Later on the Levites replaced the first-borns (see Numbers 3:40-51 and 8:5-26) but they too weren't sacrificed (look at Numbers 8:12). It was all symbolic to show God they put him first.

In regards to 1 Peter 2:18, I should really start by saying no-one was supposed to treat a slave cruelly (there were rules for slave owners; Leviticus 25:35-55 take special note of verse 43 and 53). But Peter was talking about how the slaves should live faultlessly (even if their masters weren't). It's an attitude shift from 'eye for an eye' to 'love your enemies' because ultimately the slave's servitude was done for Christ and not the slave owner.

In response to 1 Timothy 2:12, that just looks like a method imployed by Timothy (he did grow up in a time when prophetess' were similar to prostitues so Timothy could have done it for their safety). It certainly doesn't say that others should follow in his example. The preceding verse says "let a woman learn by listening quietly and being ready to co-operate in everything". That means being ready to co-operate in teaching as well.

Of course that is just my guessing. Do any of us know what was in the heart of Timothy when he wrote that? Besides, you're missing the point that it was only something he decided to do and not something he told others to do. Most importantly it's not something Jesus said to do, and to Christians Jesus is the one who needs to be followed. Btw the first comment was a reply to you, the others were a continuation of it, they shouldn't have been too hard to find.

That is God talking directly. I don't know why he didn't condemn slavery. But I do know, from Leviticus 25:35-55 that people only sold themselves (or family members) as slaves if they were too poor to support themselves. And in the same passage it says the slave owner must not be cruel to the slave. Maybe slavery was a last resort option for people in those times to avoid homelessness? It was for a fixed period anyway - they were freed by Jubilee. God doesn't approve of rape.

That quote from 1 Kings 13:1-2 about Josiah being born and destroying the altar. It's in 2 Kings 23:15-16. The bones that get burnt on the altar are from graves, so it's not a human sacrifice. I'll concede that Josiah does kill the pagan priests later on but it doesn't say they were a sacrifice to God.
Still, if they were a sacrifice to God, then I don't think it's unreasonable for God to ask of it. God gives life and can demand it just as easily.

Not really. First of all, a mother does not give her child life. She is responsible for providing half of its DNA, and sustaining it in her womb (which her body does involuntary anyway because of how God designed her body). God on the other hand gives the embryo its soul, and has complete authority over that life (just as God has authority over all creation). Killing is wrong because we don't have the authority to end someone's life because we didn't create it (God does).

I dont believe souls exists anyway, souls were what people used to explain feelings and why we are alive instead of just a dead body (because theres a soul inside the body "the man came to be living soul" 2:7 god made adams body and then gave him a soul) and why we are psicologically how we are, everything that a soul is or does can be explained by science withou it but of course your christian so you believe it exists.

@owaffs there are some parts of the theory of souls that falls flat. If 2 identical twins are born it means that one zygote divide into two with the exact same genetic material, does the soul also divide, god creates a new soul exactly the same as the other one? it doesnt make sense

The case of the identical twins just seems to prove God's involvement in the life of a person more rather than make it fall flat. The soul does not come from the zygote. So, it is perfectly acceptable for a zygote to divide and create identical twins (physiologically) who are also uniquely different spritually, because God gives each twin a unique soul. The twins don't share one soul. Just like they don't share one personality.

I'm not sure when the soul is planted into an embryo (I'm not God, and he hasn't told me when the soul is planted). Even if the case were that the zygote doesn't have a soul at the point before it potentially gets divided, that is no excuse for abortion because that zygote would receive its soul if left to develop, and we're not supposed to end human life.

Also, God is a God of love. But God is not a push-over. God hates sin. God demands that we live perfect, holy lives (a demand that a sovereign God should be allowed to make), and when we rebel against God it angers God. It's not like we even have an excuse not to be perfect and holy because God gave us Jesus as an example and the Holy Spirit to live within us so we can live a life like Jesus (i.e. holy and perfect to God).
