  • That turned out so beautiful. I am looking for a nailhead trimmed headboard/bed like this right now. I just love the fabric you used. Biased towards beige/cream right now but I love the green/sage color in this video. I am not in Cali but do you do mail delivery? If so, How much would something like this cost w/ shipping? Thank you!

  • @maricelbetz If you would send me an email with some more deatils I would be glad to give you a quote. What size headboard would you be interested in? Would you provide the fabric or do you want me to quote you on fabric as well? Can you send my your zip code, so I can research shipping options for you? (it wont let me post my email here, but if you visit my website you can find it there)

  • wow!!! Love it!!! Now I was wondering what would be the dimensions for a king side bed?? and also I would love to know who long does the legs have to be...? thank you so much.

  • @fresita1083 the legnth of the legs would depend on the height of your mattress and box spring, they should come up to just a few inches below the top of the bed.

  • Where did you get your boots?

  • @nanaphonics not sure. they where a gift.

  • Do you know where can I find all ready cutout head boards? The plywood I mean....

  • I loved you!! your work it nice!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where do you buy the continuous nail head strips? I live in Charlotte, NC. Thanks.

  • @MsMariaButler I buy it from a local place called A1 Foam & Fabrics, they can be found on the internet, but I don't believe they sell online or ship. (I'm in California)

  • What a great video! can i ask you a few questions? if this is a queen size headboard, what exactly are your dimensions on the plywood? is the headboard meant to extend all the way to the box or just 2 inches below surface of mattress? and i see that you used 2 x 2 on top of frame, but is that 2 x 4 legs? how do they fit into the bed frame?

thanks so much! i can't wait to try it!

  • @shanisol The legs are 2 x 4 pieces of wood. I use a hollywood frame (the cheap, basic metal one) and screw from the front of it into the legs of the headboard. The headboard was 48" tall x 60" wide. The distance it extends beyond the mattress depends on your bed. There are so many different depths of mattresses and box springs these days it's hard to say. Hope this helps.

  • Good job!!!!!!

  • Thanks for sharing! But in the old days, how did one do without a staple gun I wonder.

  • @KidMamtom tacs and a little hammer. thank goodness for staple guns, I wouldn't want to do all that work. ;-)

  • You made this look so easy! Im definitely going to try this. Do you offer a pattern for the shape of headboard that you did on the demo?

  • This was a great video plus i thought you looked very pretty in it. The headboard looked beautiful, definitely will be trying this with the bead trim.

  • @4stratford Thank you!!
