I am new to game design. so if I make a game on a free downloadable program. then if I like it, buy a new and better one, will I be able to download my game to a new program? and do I need to put a graphic design soflware on at first, or can I wait to buy it later, and my game will just change and look better. I am not a computer person, thanks for the input.

@BaileysRats You have to go on The Game Creators Website and highlight over Game Development and you should see FPS Creator X10. Click on that and then order it. That's it. It should be fairly easy. I hope everything goes well with the game designing.

just asking Rvanner, but when you order FPSC X10 does it come with Directx 10.1?

because I have windows 7 running with directx 9 I believe.

@Willsuitt1 No, You must install Direct X10 onto your Desktop. I was wondering that too, but once I had got the FPS Creator Free to install, it told me to install DirectX10 on the computer. So If you don't have it, FPS Creator X10 won't work.

The Fps Creator free version is not the direct x10 version and is limited so it does not have everything.

you can download the Mature package once you have bought it. I use it for all my levels.

it gives you an update for ragdoll physics. you can set decay time and stuff like that. i downloaded it and now i use darkai. which is there already but not as good with the update. but use whichever one you think looks better.

Ok thx, but ive installed this program.. made the map and tried to test run the game and it cannot find any driect3D device of something.. i am on vista btw with driectX 10

dunno, I installed vista on my macbook pro 17" with boot camp. When I started it said something similar so I went to the windows download centre website and downloaded the latest version o x10, seems to have worked for me but as I say I dunno, good luck.

Lol, i Got 8600GT Super, Vista Premium (Trust me premium aint bad and they only just released serivec pack 1, free dowload automaticly) and DX10 Lol, Comes with vista, mayaswell get it because This only works with DX10 if you watched the interview with the creators, DX10 Compatible only.
