  • Pity that such historical homes were destroyed but what I hope is that where those homes once stood that new homes will be built because if they thought that vacant homes were bad just wait until there are vacant lots mixed with unoccupied homes ala Detroit.

  • Oh, and they don't own those houses... they own new beautiful homes that they pay for AND helped build. And they take care of them very well.

The shotgun homes were most recently owned by a business man who scammed the city out of money to restore them and instead put tin barn roofs and a bad coat of paint on them and rented them as section 8 housing. Talk about not taking care of stuff.

  • "Those people are ****** dumbasses. They blame the house just because they couldn't take care of it. These houses are historic. "

Yes, they are historic... and one of them belongs in a museum. But they are not fit for living, They never were.

I love historic houses, I live in a historic house, these are not worth saving. I would suggest you go and visit the neighborhood. It's amazing the work that Fuller Center has done and continues to do there.

  • Those people are fucking dumbasses. They blame the house just because they couldn't take care of it. These houses are historic.
