i actually have this camra and i was wondering also ive had it now for 2 1/2 to 3 years and it doesnt play volume as you watch it on the camera but it does work when uploaded

your not suppose to have sound but you will have sound when you upload it on youtube

Ugh I have a Kodak V803 easy Share the uhm lcd screen IS WAY TOO fragile!! It broke after a week and i never used it I just left in drawer

thanks 4 this vid man! i have a quesion, i am a BIG cincert goer...and this cam takes pretty good pics (when it want 2 ll) but when i lookn 4 just the right shout, i seem to miss it, well, it comes out blurry/ ver grainy...i was wondering what i should do? like any function i should use that can hep this?

This camera only has a microphone, not a speaker, so sound doesn't comes out when playing videos on camera. The sound is supposed to come from the speaker, but it doesn't have one.

@mychalaburris u can buy a ''targus'' its a card reader, u can put ur memmorie card in and plug it in to the computer and click on my computer then click on removable disk or Kodak (F:) then click on DCIM then click on the little folder that shows up, and there r ur pics. p.s. if u can only see icons then click on the box up top with the little colored boxes in it and then click on it and click on thumb nails. tell me if this helped

I think this camera doesn't have sound when you play videos, it only has sound when you load it on a computer.

@SteelFan95 u can buy a ''targus'' its a card reader, u can put ur memmorie card in and plug it in to the computer and click on my computer then click on removable disk or Kodak (F:) then click on DCIM then click on the little folder that shows up, and there r ur pics. ur vid r prob in the icons that have the blue circle in them and say quick time movie beside them, click on them it might take a little time to load.

Did you ever find out if the sound plays back on the c813?

fyi. the sony dsc-s730 doesnt play the sounds with the video unless you plug it into ur pc.

No it does not, only if you play the video back on a computer then you here the audio

hey umm when ur recording with the camera and its dark can u turn a light on a light on the camera for better resolution?

no, there is no light option on the kodak easyshare c813 just that little red light you saw when recording

You can't get sound out of your camera, but you get it when you upload to your computer.

i dont have the camera but i dont think you can get sound from any cameras

because the cameras dont have speakers on them

yea about that, kodak saysthis model does not have sound playaback on video, so I am assuming others do, but atleast I know its not broked

There actually are quite a few cameras with speakers on them. My point-and-shoot Vivitar plays back audio on it.
