  • I've been doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 7 years now. I'm 14. Last week this wrestler 18 year old kid tried to fuck with me. I broke is jaw bone and two of his ribs. Fuck yeah, Jiu Jitsu.

  • @ordude123 i'm curious what kind of submission did you use to do this, it almost sounds like you used striking and no jiu jitsu. Did you just use positional control and then initiate strikes? Also, you know you're not suppose to using our art for street fighting. All the cussing makes me wonder if it was just two pumped up kids measuring whos dick is bigger, jiu jitsu is about self-control whos you're coach, maybe he needs to know your bragging about hurting another person. >.>

  • Brazilian Jiu JItsu > Wrestling

  • @BKsMassive Damn straight son.

  • @ordude123 dont encourage that kind of behavior it makes us Gracie jiu jitsu guys look like thugs. Jiu jitus is about disciple not acting implusive and foolish.

  • an ave. wrestlers strength, control, balance will always better than ur ave. bjj practicers..they just didnt know submissions(unless its catch/shoot wrestling &look how sakuraba destroyed bjj) bjj is just an" art" that ripped off/copied kosen judo(look it up) and i cant even compare because judos balance & takedowns are stronger than bjjs but then again judo is a real martial art(with honor) and doesnt depend 80% on just the guard and staying on ur back to win fights.

  • yea i didnt really see "eye gouging' its looked like good old fashion catch wrestling pressure..and also if he didnt like it,he shouldnt have stayed on his back..hell even when it restarted..he sat down on his own..kinda proves bjj is nothing unless u have the person between ur legs & if the person doesnt play "guard game" or gets out.its kinda useless..wrestler was in control the whole match& on top before the "fouls"..good match on both parts though..

  • haha eyegouge.... sorry but his chin is clealy in the temple and going across the bridge of the nose, and the little girl on bottom clearly submits twice because of it haha. then they let the action continue under a scoring table so the gay little bjj guy can put in a choke. catch wrestling is far superior to bjj sorry ladies

  • How would someone who isn't flexible and is interested in winning through strength as well as technique fair in doing bjjj?

Honestly wrestling was my first choice but all the wrestling clubs are in highschool and only accept students. Should I take up BJJ or another MA altogether?

  • bjj ownes wrestling!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, what happened at 1:04?

  • It's really weird how we all continue to have this discussion. They are to DIFFERENT fighting systems and they have different goals. When you have a guy who wrestles to fight someone who specializes into submissions i don't think it's fair. The last few years though wrestlers seem to be more dominant in mma bouts against bjj graplers.

  • I took in class for wrestling and bjj, I like bjj a bet better since my body type is flexible, tall and skinny, and wrestling is easy if I was more stronger but my body type has to change. To me judo is a mix of both

  • how can people compare wrestling to jiu jitsu? how?...No grappling art is better than the other, different yes, but not better. Each has its own set of rules, advantages/disadvantages....the jiu-jitsu-is-better-than-wrestling argument, and vice versa is plain stupid..its like comparing an apple to an orange......I like wrestling for the explosiveness and jiu jitsu for sweeps/subs...combine them together and you have a LETHAL GRAPPLER.

  • He didn't lose his sight, right? Just making sure...

  • That was so cheap the way he runs off the matt when in a triangle and then puts his arm in the triangle on the restart... What the flip...

  • Comment removed

  • I started out in Jits and moved to wrestling in college, if you could combine a wrestlers work ethic with hits skills they'd be a force....this is essentially why team lloyd irving kills it lol

  • b7r7u7c7e got it right. After all, isn't the Gracie Killer a wrestler? Any groundfighter shouldn't neglect wrestling, like he shouldn't neglect submissions.

  • did he do it with his chin? was hard to see...

  • Eye gouging is just as pussy as it gets, BEYOND nutshots. -__-

  • fuck a wrestler nigga niggas are to carless

  • Am I the only one that thinks that this wrestling prick is a pussy. 2 eye gouges and running off the mat. Face it like a man, you lost.

  • Im a 2x black belt in judo and brown belt in Bjj. My brother is a national wrestling champian in folk, freestlye, and greco. Every weekend I would train him in submission. I swear this kid looks like a young sakuraba. Very fast and sneaky with his submission and very calm on waiting for the right opening. I think when you have a great wrestling base and then learn hooks and submission at the same time(I heard this is Catch wrestling) its hard for any ground stlye to deal with.

  • What the difference between Grappling, and Jiu Jitsu ?

  • i still think wrestling is better lol. but if u wrestle u have to be aware of submissions and most wrestlers arent. i think submissions shuld be brought back into wrestling. catch wrestling is the best.

  • SHOES OFF, ASSHOLE

  • Catch Wrestling is NOT the same as amatuer wrestling. Many of the submissions that bjj "invented" existed for hundreds of years in catch. Keylocks were around years before there was a kimura. Look up Sakuraba vs. Silveira if you really want to see catch wrestling vs. bjj

  • far out that asian guy in the red is a bastard. LIttle bitch can't fight fairly. Fucking gimp cunt.

  • @jobowtackmasterx if you're going to be cheap durring a grappling match and gouge at the eyes with your chin, then i'm pretty sure you're the fag. By the way fuck you and suck it

  • how can you gouge someones eye with your chin?

  • @ 2:50 the jiu-jitsu guy screamed like a freakin faggot hahaha! loserrr...

  • Whoa, the wrestler won Asia's "best match ever". That's pretty cool.

If you're a skilled wrestler you can have more control of your opponent on the mat, it's just that BJJ are more offensive and can do more damage.

  • @MidgetmaniaRIP the wrestler lost...

  • I'm glad that punk got beat. Explosive little f'er though isn't he?

  • Geez, twice?!... Damn, might have won if he wasn't trying to cheat. That was low....

  • jiu jitsu wins against wrestling bc u win differently in jiu jitsu. in a wrestling match ur trying to pin their shoulders to the mat, and in jiu jitsu you're trying to make them tap.

  • Classy guy. Job well done.

  • stop fucking hating. both have there advantages their for the equal out. but i prefer brazilian jiu jitsu mainly cuz you can sweep alot of wrestlers.

  • That bastard watched too much wwe

  • I don't care what anyone says. You can't gouge an eye with a chin. It happens with hard grappling. Not really that big a deal. Running off the mat at cheating the triangle were legitimate calls though

  • the guy in red is a giant ass, eye gouging the dude seriousely?

  • @To0t in mma that wouldnt be classed as eye gouging but then this isnt mma rules so yeh but the bjj guy had the advantage as the wrestler had no idea what to do in full mount that was the only thing he could do unless he knew a bit of bjj himself

  • jiujitsu guys are gay

  • @jobowtackmasterx im pretty jiu jitsu and wrestling are very similar

  • @ClarkRandomness your fucking dumb wrestling is hella better...

  • @jobowtackmasterx too bad we wuld layy ur ass out

  • We can't really see what is going on at 7:33. Was there a reason the guy in red gave up his back so easily? Was the other guy doing some technique we're not seeing? It's not like the guy in red was being punched in the face, so why did he give up his back in a grappling match???

  • @XinKotetsu Looks like he was trying to roll him. If he had secured an arm or his head, he could have used that with his half guard to sweep him.

  • the only thing I have to say is CAULIFLOWER EAR!!!!! lol

  • What is the name of the wrestling takedown that Noriadi uses where he swings around behind Kristiady?

  • So..... Wrestling beat's BJJ... No surprise really...

  • @killyobchass Umm...BJJ won buddy lol

  • BJJ??? hmmmm looks like Sambo leg locks to me.

  • Fair play to Haridian. I immensly dislike unfair sportsmen. The fact he had wrestling shoes was even unfair, let alone his antics on the mat.

  • SHOES OFF THE JIU JITSU MAT BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE EVERYONES FACE GOES

  • @NegiAbhay98 they're shoes made for a mat. the bottom of those should in theory be no more dirty than the bottom of someone's foot who's walked around on the mat

  • @NegiAbhay98 There's more likelyhood of ur shoes getting dirty from peoples faces than peoples faces getting dirty from the shoes. Those are wrestling shoes, and are ONLY worn on the mat, not the streets.

  • Much respect for Hardian Kristiady :D

  • Comment removed

  • 1:03 3/4 mortal

  • was he trying to poke the guy's eye with his chin? What just happened?

  • Ya big thumbs up 2 kristiady, fighting through 2 eye gouges, having his opponent try to run through what looked like a solid triangle, and a BS restart, and he still pulls out the submission. Something like that you can't always teach, many times it's something you just acquire or are born with. He has a true will 2 win.

  • Nice dude!!! +++ Our styles are very similar, especially the way you attack from your back and keep going for legs (i freaking love to use those techniques)..but you're flexible as nuts!! I wish I'd be as flexible as you are! And I love your lockdowns, its a pretty decent technique :))

  • The reason traditional Greco and collegiate wrestling doesn't fare well against BJJ is the very principle of BJJ groundfighting-- BJJ doesn't mind being on his back as long as he can pull off a submission. Wrestling doesn't specialize in submissions and uses more strength and speed to utilize the right angling and position. In BJJ, you use more leverage compared to strength and MUST be patient patient patient.

  • @AceofDlamonds that's not even remotely true. wrestling relies on position and angling, but the strength required to execute a move is nominal.

  • @foolsbetrippin

oh I assure you strength is a bigger factor in wrestling matches than BJJ. A few of my friends who wrestle can attest to that.

  • @AceofDlamonds not more. i wrestle also wrestle for cornell..

  • @AceofDlamonds and this vid. proves...you have to be very patient!

  • @AceofDlamonds lol yep, skill, finesse, form, and timing goes way over physical ability.

  • The reason traditional Greco and collegiate wrestling generally don't fare well against BJJ is the very principle of BJJ-- on the ground, BJJ doesn't mind being on his back as long as he can pull a submission hold or grip from the guard.

Wrestling doesn't specialize in submissions unlike Jiu Jitsu and relies on a lot more strength and speed to utilize the right angling and positions. In BJJ, more leverage and less strength is key, and you must be PATIENT PATIENT PATIENT

  • All fighting is dirty, the weak don't accept this as they lie beat up

  • its classic wrestling rough housing, watch taimuraz tigiev wrestling matches, he is a famous wrestler from russia who wrestles for kazakhstan olympic silver medalist every match he pokes people in the eye and smacks them, smacking people on the head is common in wrestling.

  • I think its hilarious how some morons assume because someone knows bjj thats all they'd do in a fight, being a street fight what can they not do on top of choke you unconcious, break your arm, break your leg, tear tendons and legaments, that some moron in a joke art can?

  • you guys keep talking about bjj guys getting stabbed?

    fucking idiots.

you think if it was a real fight that the bjj wouldnt be able to stab anyone? cos he learnt bjj and now all of a sudden he forgot how to punch, kick, and eyepoke? if the winner had a hard time winning WITHOUT cheating, if he cheated he would have had the same advantage, and completely destroyed that cheating fuck.

  • Keeping your cool or not, two eye gouges is a legitimate reason to get pissed off.

  • There has to be a way to design a helmet with eye protection - e.g. wrestler's head-gear and lexan goggles attached underneath a lucha libre mask.

  • iF this was a real fight the wrestler already won with the eye gouge hahahahaha

  • bjj is like a sports, with all the rules.

in real fight, i rather use punching and kicking, especially if you are in group fights.

bjj happily chocking someone, you get stabbed with on the back.

for self defence, i have to pick other martial arts like bruce lee's jeet kune do is the best bet.

  • @royng888 one on one tho if there is know weapons its good to know a ground technique as well like bjj

  • @bassinyobooty

so i classify BJJ as a sports or martial arts just like muay thai,....but for on the streets self defence, it is better to learn bruce lee's jeet kune do.

but it is good to learn bjj too, cos its a beautiful martial arts in the ring. cant deny.

  • @royng888 Yea if only there was some kind of competition that put people of different martial art styles against each other with no rules and no time limits and allowed all illegal strikes to determine what martial art was the most effective against the others...Oh wait there was. JKD didnt do so hot.

  • @GracieBarraMofo

Actually to say that about JKD is bull shit. JKD can have anything in it. It depends who the teacher is or the person tailoring it to their body. So go back to Barra McDojo ya crawled out of. In the end it all started on Humaitá Street. :D

  • @AmericanFenian My "Mcdojo" produces world champions in BJJ and MMA. JKD produces Bruce Lee nutriders and internet warriors that talk a lot of smack but dont compete. You really need to figure out the definition of Mcdojo. A chain gym with tried and tested methods that requires you to full contact spar every class and encourages you to compete at national level tournements is hardly Mcdojo-esque. Keep trolling buddy.

  • @GracieBarraMofo

With Purple belts running gyms. Barra is a pure numbers game man. Ya get thousands of people and there will be some good and a load of bad.

  • @AmericanFenian I live in Southern California bro, which is the best place to train outside of Brazil. Theres no purple belts running gyms out here. The only times you see Gracie Barras run by purples is when its in bumfuck egypt that doesnt have any black belts. And seeing how Gracie Barra is the biggest competition team in the world, if there arent any GB black Belts in your area, then there probably arent any other black belts in your area either.

  • @GracieBarraMofo

I agree So Cal is an awesome place to train and I like going to tournaments there. There are Black Belts in the area, but non of them are Barra. Outside of Brasil, Barra in Cali is the best. But they have so many affiliates that are shit. Trust me I've traveled from East to West in this country competing. I'm not saying a purple belt can't fill in if their professor is absent or help instruct. They shouldn't be running academies. They should be polishing their skills.

  • @GracieBarraMofo I think a lot of people assume Gracie Barra schools are mcdojos simply because there are so many of them... which is also a sign of success. @Americanfenian, if you think it's a mcdojo, go for a roll, try it out, then decide.

  • @masterblastertkd Good point. The people that hate on GB are normally students smaller rival schools who's instructors talk a lot of shit about GB because they make a lot of money. They call GB a McDojo but it still takes 10+ years to get a black belt, you roll live every single day, and time on the mat alone wont get you promoted unless your skill level is where its supposed to be at. If you want to spread some Gracie hate, talk shit about GJJ and their mail order black belts.GB is legit.

  • @GracieBarraMofo Don't talk shit about us, if it wasn't for Rorion none of you other bjj schools would exist you clowns would be teaching in the sewers, because noone would give two flips about jiu jitsu. Gracie academy does not give black belts away despite what these trolls are saying, its just other schools angry trying to cut out the competitor.

  • @jamesellis33 dont get mad at me. Im not saying GJJ guys dont do well in competition, all im saying there are mailorder belts in GJJ. Take it up with Rorion if you dont like it, but dont get mad at me for speaking facts.

  • @royng888

My JKD incorporates Kali and BJJ.

  • Bjj doesnt work if you are against more than one person becas if u r on the ground choking someone out the other can seriously hurt u like stab u cas u are paying attention to the guy u are choking

  • @MrPancho4321 ya, but for example i pracice it because i like it, i dont use it for self defence because i know it wont really help

  • LOL I thought when the guy got gouged, he was actually getting his nose bitten.

  • At the beginning of there match its like watching a crocodile do a death roll on the guys leg haha. Awesome talent.

  • Baraka the great u r a fucking retard wrestleing is for fucking homos bjj is much more technique and skill then wrestleing u look up ur facts fuck nut and ur coach can suck my dick cause if he fought my bjj instructor he would get his ass handed to him.... Eat shit and die u wrestleing fag

  • @ss5dojo that guy is no way unskilled,he was a way better wrestler than the other guy, great speed and scrambling ability and good submission defense until the end,not to mention god top pressure.Id agree theres nothing heroic about it,but he did do well against a stronger better athlete

  • lemme get this straight, the red shorts guy was using his chin to gouge haridians eyes?

  • @ss5dojo If the wrestler had and basic submission skills like catch wrestling it would have been a better match. Pro wrestling ie WWE is the death of catch wrestling.

  • He threw that triangle so smoothly

  • and the moral of this video is if you cheat you will not be punished! so cheat cheat cheat!!!!

  • If I had the time and money, my MMA mix would be: Greco roman wrestling for throws and slams and it's speed, BJJ for up close technical grappling, Vale Tudo for it's even balance between striking and grappling, Muay Thai for it's powerful striking and conditioning and then after about six months, I'd throw some Sambo in there once I had a better understanding of grappling and wanted to add something a little more advanced to the mix.

  • @berner Rofl, just goes to show how flawed each of those styles are if you have to jump around like that.

  • @berner just so you know, vale tudo is mma with less rules, neither are styles as such.I wouldnt say sambo had anything over wrestling, the standard is way lower internationally and theres alot thats jacket specific. Also bjj has assimilated its best leglocks now.Youd really have to study freestyle or collegiate wrestling since greco has no leg attacks nor defense against them

  • Something I noticed studying these BJJ videos is that its a very flowing fighting style. They are very very good at noticing peoples mistakes and everything that is given from the opponent is absorbed into some sort of technique. Very interesting to watch.

  • you may be able to outlast a wrestler in a grapple match but. in a real fight pretty sure he would have just pounded away on u =/

  • I'm favoriting this! This is awesome!!!

  • He Basically sets you up for the sweep at 4:30

  • that wrestler was a damn scumbag. he looked like a squealing pig inside that triangle.

  • Stupid. There was no "moral lesson" to be found anywhere here. The wrestler cheated 3 times and was not DQ'ed, and Kristiady seemed to be playing around by going to the crab position every time, giving up top position when he had it and letting Noriadi take mount almost every time. Stupid match that should have ended a good 5 minutes earlier.

P.S. What a newb trying an armbar from half-guard!

  • That was a good match but If there were no rules ..and "out of bounds " I think the guy in the red coulda gotcha but that's just my opinion . Good match though .

  • Can i just say, i agree with you totally. Hardian acted like a true sportsman and we should all look up to him for it. But you're being a bit dramatic when you say "acting in a way that virtually none of you reading this would be capable of." Thats simply not true. As far as i can tell there are 2 kinds of fighters. Fighters that cheat, and fighters that don't. Generally it's only the fighters that cheat that will demand perfect restarts and calls on every rule broken. The rest generally do not.

  • @censurabass Meaning, that when 2 cheaters fight, they will call eachother on everything they do wrong. When 2 fighters who do not cheat fight, it's generally just a clean fight. But, like this, when you get a guy who doesn't cheat fighting a cheater, they generally do not call them on it.

  • are they listening to wiz khalifa- name on a cloud at around 7:30... wtf? lol

  • lol at song

  • The guy who won apparently loved going for heel hooks and had a rather creepy smile on his face. This is not the good vs evil battle you portray it as. More like two grapplers doing everything they can to win in a rough, even brutal sport competition.

  • couldnt see their faces. but they sure do have hot sexy bodies yum yum especially the shirtless asian guy in red shorts

  • after the second eye gouge i would have kicked that guy in the balls :D

  • i was hoping he could have hooked up on that kimura and shattered his arm!

  • you don't do yourself any favours with the intro

  • Noriadi is a little fucker... Hardian should have kept the triangle on when the went off the mat and made Noriandi go to sleep

  • terrible refereeing! match should have been stopped 3 times! also, the most aggravating thing is that triangle was locked on, and they moved it! bullshit. also, to all you who say all you need is BJJ, thats bs too! I am a blue belt in BJJ, I've been training for 3 years now, and wrestling, judo and other grappling arts are required to be well rounded. 9 times out of 10 any wrestler will take you down, get on top and finish you. wrestling and BJJ = great base for fighting and self defense.

  • At 2:12, the wrestler in the red shorts had the perfect position for a north/south arm triangle and he didn't even recognize it, could've had the fight right there

  • @STEALTH872003 I saw that. But I saw it two minutes earlier. I'm that good.

  • @christlicker LOL, gotta give it to you

  • I feel for the guy, when I wrestled in highschool I used to roll all my opponents with a peterson's. I wrestled a guy who had known this and he reached between my legs and cupped my nuts whenever I would get into position to sit out and roll. In response I couldn't sit out or move for that matter. I didn't lose my cool either and ended losing by points slightly (maybe I shouldnt' have relied so much on the roll lol). But yeah I wanted to punch the guy, but class is more important then winning

  • LOL the guy stuck his fingers in the other guys face and gouged his own eye. Too funny.

  • the guy in the red shorts is and asshole

  • funny how people say bjj vs wrestling, when both clearly know and use bjj

  • @Agtren got that right..!

  • Well often times wrestling guys learn BJJ stuff when they want to inter a competition like this. Because there's no submissions in wrestling, just pin the guy and get points.

  • @Agtren disagree.

  • @JeffreyJamesLippold Just because someone can grapple well, does not mean they know brazillian style of ju-jutsu atall. The best grapplers throughout history that I know, did not know any brazillian ju-jutsu. Don't get me wrong, many good ones do know bjj. It's just a style. Gene lebel awesome. Bjj nope, Gokor, awesome, bjj nope, Kimura awesome bjj nope, acosta, awesome bjj yes. so, just because they know ju-jutsu you can't tell where they learned it.

  • @JeffreyJamesLippold Well, the issue here is that in freestyle wrestling, which as I understand is what he practiced, there are no submission/submission escape/etc. Since he knows them, he had to have learned them in bjj or another art such as judo or sambo or catch. Since there is no indication he studied any of the latter three, he evidently studied bjj.

  • @Agtren Correlational fallacy, could be anything.

  • @JeffreyJamesLippold Hm, without additional information BJJ is still the most likely candidate.

  • come on fight like a man, why goes to the ground and wrestle like snakes?

  • @royng888 You know the majority of fights end up on the ground right?

  • @BarakaTheGreat

for me no, i will punch and kick the hell out of my opponent.

even if i happen to be thrown to the ground by some coward opponent, i will use the coward way to fight, i will use my teeth to bite a big chunk of fresh out. you think BJJ effective against my teeth and finger nails in real fight????

  • @royng888 Have you ever seen a real street fight? If a person is on top of you, the only place you will have your hands is covering your face, it's a reflex, you can't control it. Your brain will not put you in danger unless trained to do otherwise. A person with top control is going to easily be the victor.

  • @BarakaTheGreat

BJJ is effective cos there are rules, in real fight, go on top of me, i will bite your nipple off.

  • @royng888 No, no you won't, keep thinking false things.

  • @royng888 lol by a coward opponent... you mean some one that knows how to fight?? if i threw your bitch ass to the ground and mount you and you bite me.... then you have just thrown any common rules out the window and now i get control while your busy biting my leg then i shove my thumbs threw your eyes into the back of your skull and kill you you moron.... you think your the only one that can fight dirty.... just know if you sink to that level then your opponent can do the same

  • The wrestler doesn't know how to fight. He's just strong. I was the same way, I was a wrestler in Highschool for 4 years but it wasn't until I learned Brazilian Jiujitsu and Judo that I really learned how to grapple.

  • o come on i dont think he ENTIRELY ment to eye gouge him, its not like he jabd him with a finger or somthing.

  • @ph33ric clearly you know little about technique. therefore, i suggest that in future you restrain yourself from making technique related comments. i am guessing that you are a white belt, if you train at all.

  • @tap2flame i bet your a big strong dude who cant get past pushing people over on your knees durring class and just brute'ing everything and goin Nuts like every nite is abu dahbi nite. JERK head!

  • @ph33ric

    Nice grammar, retard!

  • Ju jitsu would win I think because style beats strength every time thts just my opion tho plus the wrestler would get tired slot faster using all his strength... In a street fight I still belive ju jitsu is better cause they use there opponents mistakes to win and reverse the wrestler. IDK that's my opinion I'm not hatein on any one I fight ju jitsu but if u have a did opion leave me a comment

  • WOW WHAT A GOOD FIGHT. THOSE EYE POKES DIDN'T SEEM ON PURPOSE. IF THIS WAS A MMA FIGHT AND YOU COULD STRIKE THE GUY IN THE RED WOULD OF WON BUT JUST MY OPINION. AMAZING FIGHT WHAT A BATTLE

  • Man, I'm tired of people who say Jiu Jitsu is always better than wrestling, of course in a submission match Jiu Jitsu comes out on top, Ive done both sports and theyre just different, wrestling is not really a combat art, its just a contact sport I have respect for both arts and the people who participate in them.

  • Ju jitsu beats wrestleing every time cause wrestleing has no style or technique it's just strength and that's what hpn here the bjj guy out classed the wrestler

  • @xjoker94x In a pointless submission match on mats, maybe. However in a street fight/real fight, the wrestler will get on top every time and just ground and pound. Anyone who says wrestlers have no skill is an idiot.

  • @xjoker94x Wrestling is all style and technique, why don't you do some research before posting, you can be the skinniest guy, but beat someone twice your size because of skill difference, AKA my coach against a buff new comer.

  • every time i roll with a wrestler i lose :( so freakin frustrating!

  • MMA is superior. If they can avoid all your takedowns, your submissions and what not become useless and you're forced to take kicks and punches. ;)

  • BJJ is all you need.

  • i don't understand how he got eye-gouged did his opponent bite his eye? o.O

  • @nomefacil1 he used his chin to dig into his eye

  • I consider myself to be someone of patience, but i too will not being able to stop myself from complainig to the referee in the least, or throw a chair at most. indeed this is very inspiring.

  • The dumbest guy in this whole thing is the ref.

  • nice...

  • did that dude really bust his azz doin his victory flips at 1:03?

  • I have a feeling that th wrestler would have one if it were not for the eye gouging. the second time it didn't even look like he hit the BJJ fighters eye it looked more like his forehead.

I feel like the wrestler was the stronger opponent. not just physically.

  • nice

  • Randy Couture,Mark Coleman,Kevin Randleman and many other MMA specialist has limited submission experience and has win many fights against submission graplers.

Another example is the "Gracie Killer" who is a freestyle wrestler....

So my point is that bjj is better than wrestling in a submission fight but not in a "real fight" especially in the street, where to go on the ground it's not so easy, since a road could be much harder than a mat or a tatami....

  • Actually i think is pretty lame to think that bjj is better than wrestling.....

Since this is submission wrestling fight i think it's common at the end the bjj guy win the fight since submissions is bjj priority.

It would be better to fight a guy from judo, sambo or pankration.

Anyway i think is lame to think that bjj is better than wrestling, since in MMA fights wrestlers tend to give a hard day at ground fighters cause of their takedown defence....

  • Congrats to Hardian........ a chin to the eye is most painful.
