This video is from a combination of clips from film and tv projects I have appeared in. The 'senate hearing' scenes with Dee Snyder and others are from a VH1 TV Movie called "Warning Parental Advisory" based on the Senate music label hearings in the 1980's.
dee snider fought the system with pride. the u.s. 1st ammendment grants you freedom of speech. it it the listers fault to interpret it the wrogne way. because of that law, you can saw anything. it sux that most people dont use there constitutional rights. since they dont use them enough, the dam politicans will take them away from us every year. so sad.
No, that's NOT the whole thing! This person is referring to Dee's ENTIRE testimony as opposed to a short clip of him addressing the comittee, which is either not on YouTube or we just don't know what words to type in to the search bar. Any help would be appreciated. We have Frank Zappa's & John Denver's entire testimonies & I, for one, want to see Dee's as well, He looks like he could SERIOUSLY OWN the PMRC!
OMG thats funny, i love Dee there was no way possible for us metal fans to win that testimony any way...the judge and jury had already made their decision before we began speaking
These people are just fucking idiots. They don't understand Rock Music. They think a song is meant to be heard for lyrics. But in reality, lyrics are only part of the story.
IMDB has a cross of user reviews which give it 6.6 stars out of 10; and the New York Times has a review online which gives about the same. Give it a Google.
The opening scene and those with Dee Snyder are from a Movie by VH1 called "Warning: Parental Advisory" loosely based on the Senate Music Hearings of the mid 80's. The other clips are various film, TV projects, or screen tests I've been involved.
You know . . . that is a really good question and I'm not sure myself. I found the song searching through a friends collection of music back in LA and have since forgotten. Apologies to the band for not knowing. It's a fun tune.
If anyone knows the name of the song or the band it would be nice to know. Thanks.
this was a movie made about the PMRC hearing. I remember reading about it.

Well, if you think about it, Mustaine would've probably spoken out against it, or Rob Halford.

These the lyrics of a band that isn't perental advised called death; evengeful corpse out to kill
Smell the stench, your guts will spill
Vomit for a mind, maggots for a cock
With his axe the corpse will chop
Ceremony now complete
Chosen one is now deceased
Fucking, raping zombie whores
Killing, feasting no remorse
To proof that those stickers don't work.
And authoriter censorship has failed. Album realesed in 1987.

Is that you as Jesus interspursed with the Al Gore piece? I think before I make a reel I need to slip Jesus in there somewhere. Well done.
