My favorite buddy from Act I was Michele Dachss, who also happened to be my primary buddy until I defended Mike's Bar and got separated from everyone. When I got to this point, I got suspicious about my buddy just standing there next to the briefcase, so I shot him with a sniper and sure enough, all of my buddies go apeshit and starting shooting me. I blow 'em up with all of my explosives, take the briefcase, and bid them farewell.

I had a pretty dodgy bit when I did it; the Irish guy (Frank I think) was there at the start, in spite of the fact that he'd died earlier in the game, and then Hakim came round the corner and was the first to pull the gun on me. Before he could shoot, Frank suddenly stepped in and shot him in the chest a couple of times, before a gas tank exploded and killed both of them.

this was the best twist in the game. They made a deal with the jackal to get the case and try to kill you and escape. But the Jackal knew you were badass enough to kill them all and wanted everyone all dead any way. Thats the Jackal for you~no ethics. No characters survived were going survive this game. Great writing here!

It might have more depth to it than most FPS-lovers thinks at first gaze (especially if you're used to the COD-series). The ones that betrayed me were Hakim, Flora, the french girl, Josip and Narseen. Hakim was the one who called me over and Flora was the bitch who got everyone to shoot at me who said fuck you. Frank and the chinese guy were still alive but they didn't betray me. Paul was my only buddy that died in action and i was playing as Andre! i just beet the game

They wanted the diamonds to escape the country, and they somehow know you are after them. What's weirder though is that your buddies who 'died' in the North part of the map are still alive.

I noticed that too. I played as Andre, and my buddies that died at Mike's were Quarbing, Warren, and Michelle. Flora was missing after she saved me, because I left soon after she saved me; I assumed troops came back and killed her. But if you notice, the ones that die at Mike's are all labeled as missing in your journal. You lose all of your health and end up in the back of a truck of whichever army turned on you. Perhaps the same with them. Either way, they were never labeled killed.

I did both the church and the save buddies thing, nothing changes to tell you the truth, i just think it changes reputation or somethin maybe unsure, didnt exactly see a difference
