I believe the world of rallying and motorsport is poorer without the presence of this great man. He was the most exciting and flamboyant driver who in my mind should have had multiable world titles with Subaru and Ford.

He was my favourite driver, my hero and it was a pleasure and an honour to have met him in Donegal in 1991 and 2006.

There will never be a driver as good and exciting like him again because he was a one of a kind.
