  • again 5*

    nice dude

  • I cant even come close to wrapping my head around this. It'd be alot cooler to see you actually playing though.

  • Thanks man =)

I wish I had video of it no doubt! Well

I will have some cool stuff like that during the solo at the end of the dvd coming out so it's not all lost man!

    Seth Davis

  • what a shredder,keep it up.

  • Thanks bro =)

  • Just awesome, awesome

  • Thanks so much man ;-)

  • One of my favorite solos ever, no doubt. Awesome work!

  • Wow man, that really means a lot!

    Seth Davis

  • very nice seth! keep going !

  • Thanks bro! The real stuff is coming soon!

    Seth Davis

  • Wow, Awesome Solo!!!!!!

  • Thank you. ;-)

  • nice solo GZ man

  • Thanks man =)

  • yo seth man, imma have to show you some of what i got one of these times... i will try to tape myself playing at shcool and i will put it on my page. i need to play my drum solo in about a week on stage and i will try to get someone to record it man... send me a message if u want the vid..

  • Dude Seth, I finally bought a sony handycam!!! :) I can start posting some vids of my "Drumming" haha, I will let you know when I get one put together ;)

    Little Brother

  • Well.... I can't wait to see what you shoot for me bro!!! Can't wait!!

    BB ;-)

  • I will have to do some really hard technical song, so you can be like, WTF!!! lol I wish right? :)

  • Ha ha! Nah bro, you just do what you feel like doing man. You do not have to show me speed or technical ability to impress man. I would actually love to see you play some solid grooves, and I mean solid. No crash fill every 4 bars either, Just let me hear ya groove somthing simple. I love all of it does not matter, I will support you regardless and those who don't are jealous. If you lived closer and I had the time I would turn you into a technical monster that everyone would really hate.

  • really???? You think you could turn me into a monster? lol! Hmm I wonder how many hours away I live from you haha

  • I don't think bro... I know. =)

    S

  • the woodblock sounded very uhhhh... agressive after a while though, you have an insane amount of skill though and im not one to criticize so still, GREAT SOLO!

  • nice!

  • rudiments are awesome

  • This makes me want to quit. Haha, sad but true.

  • You better not quit man!!! This is to inspire and just contribute to the art of drumming, see it as motivation and something fun to be part of. This is not a competition man, just my little contribution along with the dvd. It is all to share, encourage and teach.

    Seth Davis

  • dude i gotta say i'm loving your snare. if u could tell me what type of snare u got and toms i would appriciate it lol. and that gold trim looks really nice. oh yeah now about the drumming lol, at the begining, i like the fact that u had a nice soft beat going then towards the end u started giving a bit more kick to it. and the double base at the very end... wicked job man!

  • Thanks so much man! What you are hearing here was the D.W. Exotic Laquer drumset with a 13x5 "edge" snare drum. 12x8 rack tom & 15x12 floor tom with legs. 22x18 bass drum. However...The birch starclassics that I use now and that I used on the recording for the dvd in my opinion blows the 6000 dollar D.W.'s out the water and they cost 1200 not 6 grand. If you can play you can play brother, don't get caught all up into the marketing of the world that includes drum companies.

    Seth Davis :-)

  • Great stuff, man.

  • Thanks bro.. :-)

  • WOW!! Thanks for sharing that. Just awesome!!

  • You are very welcome man! Thanks for the support! :-)

  • hi 5 bro.

    very tech.

  • Thanks man. :-)

  • sick dude:)

  • you are a god dude. i really love your work. your amazing. keep it up!

  • I don't know about the god part! lol You always post awesome comments and your support is second to none brother! Thanks so much and the real stuff is coming very soon!

  • Very nice.

  • I really appreciate your time and comment man, thanks again!

  • what a coordination man! very good technique

    MORE DRUM SOLOS!!

  • Thanks brother, be on the look out for the trailer coming soon!

  • Very cool, but I can't for the life of me figure out why you didn't post a video of you actually playing this live.

  • It was not filmed bro, only had the audio from the show... That's the only reason, but the dvd trailer will make up for it! Sorry man.. :-)

  • I'm not talking about a film that goes with this audio. I'm talking about just a basic "me recording myself" video, of you doing some of the same stuff :-) At any rate, be sure to ping me when the DVD is available for purchase.

  • Actually bro what you are describing is what I put out a few years back, I did all that stuff over two ostinatos. It was a home made film and I did not really want to push it as being my first representation so I just stop having them, but I still have a few around I think if you would like one.

    Seth :-)

  • very technical i love it! keep it up post some more recent vids dude id love to hear some more

  • Thank you so much man! I will have the long awaited dvd trailer for the Moeller Killer up as soon as it is finished being edited! The audio engineering and video production will make it well worth the wait.. ;-)

  • I love this video. Especially the 7/8 part. And how did you keep up that 5/4 ostinato? :P Though, the 11/16 sounded a little bit odd. =) But it still shows your incredible control. The beginning of those flam crossovers didn't appeal that much to me but then after that those flam crossovers sounded awsome.

  • The 5/4 Ostinato like any other I utilize just takes serious repetition brother, but with some drumming hypnosis and meditation you would be surprised how you can cut thousands of reps down to almost hundreds.. :-) The Flam crossovers are a great visual for me and show of precision & Timing, to just hear them does not do justice, I understand what you mean 100%. :-)

    Seth

  • Wow, where do I begin...I love the 7/8 against the triplets in 5/4. The 7/16 para-diddles over the 5/4 ostinato was amazing to hear. The same goes for the flam crossovers. A nice ending with the 32nd notes on the bass drum. Too much of that and it is overdose on the bass drum. Bravo! Well done brother. Oh yeah, Its a shame we had to listen to all of those stick clicks and rim hits throughout the solo...Oh, Wait! There weren't any! A testament of perfection. Outstanding !!!

  • I freakn give up on drums.. I'm done lol *puts drumsticks in burning trash barrel*

  • You better not Seth!! You are a bad ass little dude and I very much appreciate what you are doing man!!!

    Big Brother lol

  • I hope there weren't any stick clicks!!! Thanks so much man.. :-)

  • Hey Seth.... very cool SOUNDING ! I like the text also. It would be nice to have the text in a smaller window tranposed over

video of you playing live. Maybe thats asking too much ? ps Insane Independence is Right ! ! ! ! love it

    T. Baker Keizer Oregon U.S.A.

  • INSANE INDEPENDENCE is right ! ! ! I like the text, but it would be awesome to read the text in smaller window transposed over video of you playing live.

Who were your influences as a young learning drummer ? Thanks again for sharing ! ps I've discovered new personal ambition and dedication in my

daily routine. Scincerely, T. Baker Kiezer Oregon

  • My earliest influence and still to this day is Ronnie Tutt, my mother is an Elvis freak and I use to break pens on board game boxes and have ink flying everywhere! lol There are of course so many more but Tutt on the Elvis on tour stuff was just amazing, really.

  • Allright thats just insane.

  • Thanks man. :-)

  • great job man! I really enjoyed listening

  • Thanks so much bro! That is what makes it worth the hard work is guys like you who really appreciate it.. :-)

  • You are a genius. The average human could not do this. Were you good at math?

  • ricvdb - Thanks for the awesome support, was I good in Math.... Not no but HELL no! ha ha Actually man, learning how to count and divide signatures is what really helped me understand basics that I should have already had a hold on which with drumming and time is fractions.. :-)

  • it sounds like......INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks brother! :-)
