  • one cat watched this video :D

  • Me when I get older.

  • How did you removed the logo?

  • What episode is this from?

  • Remember when the simpsons used to be worth watching? You know, when maggie really was a baby?

  • The animation is the only part of this show that's still holding up. Just let it be.

  • Goddamn people will grasp at any straw to criticize this show. Yes, we get it bandwagon of pretentious shit, the jokes have gotten stale.

  • The thing is, artists always improve in their art. The colors have improved and In my opinion the art is better. If you look at any artists early work(namely with comics and such) you see a HUGE difference between earlier and later work.

  • you guys dissing are all nuts. I've been watching this show since I was 10 years old, I even went to art school and studied animation for 5 years because of it- I'm 32 now and still this is my favorite work of art-i can't even call it a t.v. show.I guess the Whitney museum thought so too when they screened an episode at an exhibition

  • Bland animation? Looking back, I think they've only improved.

  • @TheLegendofPatrick That's why it sucks. It doesn't look organic anymore, and its not. It's digital.

  • im quite positive she said "yahhh doggies"

  • yep, that's about right

  • The new Simpsons just isn't as funny as the episodes from the 90s.

  • @pokemonprincess1988 Almost without exception, TV shows exhaust the concept after five seasons.

Compare the first six seasons of the Simpsons, allowing for the first season to shake things out. The Simpsons has staying power because it examines the countless facets of America's decay as it happens and because the medium of animation somehow stays fresher.

I'd say Season Nine was the end of the age for the original Simpsons concept. It survives on gags and one-liners for the ADD audience now.

  • @InfiniteMushroom

I couldn't have put it better myself. It's turned from light hearted family entertainment to this bizzarre, dry and off colour humour that just isn't funny. The drawings have also changed and I don't like them. They are too uniform and lack the charming character that they displayed back in the 90s. The characters have also lost what made them who they are and it's just become a disapointment. I loved the Simpsons in the 90s and thought that it was epic. It's a shame.

  • @pokemonprincess1988 i think its partially due to family guy... i use to watch them all the time... then family guy came along with a different type of humor... so yes i betrayed the simpsons

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA LIKE

  • the animation in this show is so ridiculously bland compared to how it used to be =/

  • this was the movie The cat lady a cats western tale

  • This is Soooo Funny.

  • The fact that they have to iterate that joke over and over is a good indication of the show's decline.

  • @Serfuzz

    Not really.

  • @Serfuzz Kinda hard not to in a show that's been going on for like twenty seasons. But yes, the show was at it's prime in seasons 2 to 9 and 10 if you ask me.

  • @pmanderson Guess I'm a little more critical than that. I'd put the absolute peak at seasons 4 through 7, with 2, 3, and 8 however still being better than everything else that's ever been on TV.

  • @Serfuzz Heh, fair enough. I'm not that of a die hard Simpsons fan to remember all that, but yes. It's an amazing show.
