  • guess old bart did not hold after all i smell a payoff later-maybe a later appointment under pres. zero

  • Insulting Stupik is not going to change anything. The whole situation only reinforces that we must have faith in God not in man!

  • Democrats = fail, sell outs, flip flopping shit bags that are domestic threats to our Constitution, freedom and way of life.

  • Stupack a baby killer I heard it from that congressman that yelled it out.

  • Bart Stupac is a sucker!

  • Stupak and the Democrats made utter fools of Catholic vote. I am reminded of Lucy, Linus, and a football.

  • @harryforbes

Isn't it more like Lucy, Charlie, and a football?

  • Uhhh... there is NO SUCH THING as a Pro-Life Democrat... Bart Stupak has just proven that. No principles and can be bought for a low price.

  • Great ad, now do one that shows Stupak smiling and riding off with his noble friends, leaving Braveheart and the American people to be massacred by Longshanks Obama - the Falkirk scene in the movie. Remember Longshank's line: "I gave Mornay double his lands in Scotland and matching estates in England. Lochlan turned for much less." Bribes and backroom deals then, and now...

  • Yesterday was Pearl Harbor Day for the right to life & the republic. Bart Stupak is our Husband Kimmel.

  • Bart Supak had a horse and fled.

  • In November support Stupaks opponent Dan Benishek because his motto is "You deserve better" and you do, we all do. Can someone give Mr. Stupack a bowl of water to wash the blood of the innocents off his hands? Neither he nor any member of Congress believes one word of explanation..and here I thought Representative Stupak was a man of principle. Was I ever wrong. Obamas track record on abortion shows that he is not trustworthy on this issue, and an amendment is the proper way to do this.

  • Last I heard Stupak may flip...say it ain't so, Joe...

Obama is NOT to be trusted....he's proven that over and over again.

  • hello six: nonthiestnc here. if you dont want insurance, then stay & pay out the nose. i want options. were the only country left not given insurance options.

  • @SpinozasPsyche: Spinoza! You invoke the name of a thoughtful and brilliant man of ideas, while you stoop to broad-brush name-calling of an entire religion like a 6-year-old in the schoolyard. That's rich. Instead of contributing something of real value to the discussion you stoop to the most contemptible Catholic-baiting jibes. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that the good rabbi and I are both ashamed of your low-life gutter talk.

  • Bravo! Great video.

  • This is an awesome video!

  • this video is being banned by Obama. Hurry and recommend it before it is removed.

  • Oh-bama = OTP

    One Term President =)

    LMAO !

  • This is an epic bill. It is very dangerous, very scary, and the hugest piece of social engineering I've ever personally watched. If it doesn't go down, our country will go down.

  • Why does the Catholic church get tax exempt status when they are determined to shove their religion down our throats by coopting the political process. If they want to control our government then they should have to pay taxes like everyone else. They are hateful ignorant superstitious people whose thinking is stuck in the middle ages. What a joke.

  • chinacat

    What makes you so special?

I'm 73, Muslim, and have lived in the US all my life. From California to Texas to Oregon to Maryland. Never did any Catholic person attempt to shove any religion down my throat in any way.

Please tell me when was the last time the Catholic Church, or anyone (snicker snicker)shoved anything down your throat.

  • @chinacat22 If every other group out there gets to voice their opinion on this bill, then why shouldn't the Catholic Church? Sounds to me like you are just ignorant and hateful yourself of a group you just don't understand.

  • Did you know that abortion supporters have been trying for many years pass laws that would force Catholic hospitals to perform abortions and commit infanticide, Catholic universities to teach their students abortion and infanticide methods, and would force Catholic physicians and other health care providers to perform or refer for abortions and acts of infanticide?

Many Catholics don't realize the assualts that their fellow Catholics in the health care profession have been up against.

  • P.S. It's no longer, "If you're against abortion, then don't have one" . . . now it is becoming, "if you're against abortion, and you're in health care, we'll take away your license, shut down your hospital, close your school. You will comply. Resistance is futile."

This is not about "women's rights", folks. This is about the tyranny of the political correctness over people of faith.

    Free-dommmmm!

  • I am not saying they cannot voice their hateful superstition. I am saying that they shouldn't be able to do it and still be tax exempt. It is ridiculous that churches are tax exempt anyway. We should change that.

  • Non-profits that the state considers to benefit the community may receive tax exempt status. Greenpeace is tax exempt; so are various historic preservation societies, historical societies; entities that exist solely for charitable, educational & research purposes - all these the state deems to benefit the community.

In exchange, these groups agree not to directly support a particular candidate or party by name. Principles & causes, however, they can and do support, such as the pro-life cause.

  • P.S. For those who don't see how churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, & other worship centers benefit the community, it might help to note that of the volunteers who travel from all over the nation to assist devastated areas after floods, tornadoes, & other natural disasters, 90% tend to be from churches or other religious groups. Churches and religious groups seem to be all about pitching in and helping out when the chips are down. This eases the burden on gov't. to fix problems & saves em $

  • @chinacat22 Planned Parenthood, who directly profit from abortion, therefore have a FINANCIAL stake in this bill, are shoving their opinions down our throats. Planned Parenthood is also tax exempt. I think their tax exempt status should be removed before it's removed from churches.

  • Yes thats what you commies stand for nothing but what you can get away with!!!

YES I WILL DIE FOR MY FREEDOM HOW ABOUT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats what you lefteys stand for nothing just what you can get away with!!

Yes I will die for my FREEDOM how about you!!!!!

  • @1inkdaddy I'm a "lefty" American I'd die for your freedom. Would you die for mine?

  • FUCK no. But I encourage you to do it for us conservatives.

  • We need to round up all the lefties, the gay activists, the environmental activists, the communists, and put them in FEMA camps. They should be deported. Maybe to Canada. Canada seems to love these people.

  • Stupak! And all the other idiots in this clip! Drive an armored car over to the battle! And the king lobbyist! Writes him a check! America has become a land of braindead idiots! watch out your IQ's are showing!

  • A shining example of just how easy to is to use peoples fear and anger over something that doesn't exist, or towards someone for reasons that aren't true in order to avoid talking about the real issue.

  • The right wing is using abortion as a political tool.

That disgusts me. And that is why I will never vote for a republican, as long as I live.

  • Conservatives must stop using this film to symbolize their frustration. Did any of you actually see the end of this movie? Unless you are willing to have your head cut off for what you believe, please stop comparing yourselves to William Wallace.

  • Oh OK, we will listen to your thoughts on the matter, if you see any other objectionable youtube videos, please let us know so we can take them down....

  • Actually Wallace won in the end because he gave his life for the cause. Sometimes that's how it works.

  • They have this saying in the military...goes something like "Our goal is not to die for our country. Our goal is to make the other guy die for his."

  • Consider also that William Wallace only slowed down the unification of England and Scotland.

  • you forgot ripping out of the intestines(while still alive)

  • Ok you wiseguys.....

I guess you all have a point!

  • well said ill: the repub are reactionary and cannot see the big picture. they are sheeps. we will pass this health care reform

  • @nonthiestnc Anyone buying Obama and Pelosi BS are the ones following like sheep. Unfortunately, they are going to lead us all....right off the cliff.

  • hello thesix: if you dont have health insurance, youd think differently. were the only civilized nation without gov run health care. based on your comments to others, your a feared sheep. iam having a good healthy life and soon insurance,

  • hello six: so buying health insurance for many will makes us fall off the cliff? if you didnt have this, youd sing a different tune.

  • There is a lot of bad info in several of the posts here. Stupak led 26% of the democrats to pass the ammendment and therefore vote Yes for the House bill. The bill does not ban abortions. It does not allow the Federal Govt to mandate abortion coverage. It allows state conscience clauses to continue in force. It does not allow funding for abortions (this has been the law of the land since 1976). So if a woman wants abortion coverage, she buys it. She cannont get federal support for her plan.

  • Thanks very much, bronx1725, for clarifying. Very helpful. I hope your information will put to rest the concerns of some of those here who have seemed troubled by the direction of Stupak's leadership.

  • EXACTLY! What Stupid wants to do is prevent companies in the exchange to provide abortion coverage! So ANY insurance company in the plan exchange can NOT offer SEPARATE plans that women can pay for separately.

  • mitch

When one is the village idiot, does one get paid for that service?

  • Comment removed

  • Good job. It must be a small village though. You aren't a very witty idiot. You don't hail from "Resume Speed" Texas perchance?

  • Choke on a dick cocksucker. If all you are going to do is suck off strange men at a truck stop and post "idiot" resume. Is there a retort cocksucker?

  • You're too easy . I'll let you go for now. Go ahead, resume speed. .

  • Translation: "My line is getting long and I need to get back to my glory hole. I'm hoping my daddy shows up." You are now blocked cocksucker. You present no evidence or argument. You inbred son of a bitch drug this down to a tremendous low that I'm sure you live with. Name calling with no argument.

  • I came here to stand with stupak.

Instead, I got stuck with stupid.

  • why the hell does this issue even matter??? we are in the midst of a great recession, 2 wars, and states with huge defecits and yet we still have a need to argue over this? let us instead urge our senators and reps. to get America back to where it once was. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  • Irish women only need to catch the ferry over to England for an abortion, so I don't think Ireland is a great example. Irish women go over to England all the time to get abortions.

  • chinacat, Irish women in Irish hospitals giving birth to Irish babies have the lowest rate of death of any women in the world. You would think if abortions were necessary, and in Ireland with abortions not allowed, that lots of women would be dying . . . but they're not.

The Irish doctors agreed that a direct abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother. And Ireland's spectacularly low maternal mortality rate suggests they're right in their assessment.

  • Wrong, Irish women who need an abortion just jump on the ferry over to England to have their abortions. Everyone knows that.

  • You and I are having two completely different conversations.

    Euphrosyne: Water is wet.

    Chinacat: Wrong. 2 + 2 = 4.

    Euphrosyne: Huh?

    I'm done here.

  • So if a woman is going to die if she doesn't have an abortion Jesus wants them both dead? So an adult life is not worth shit even if the unborn fetus is going to die anyway? WOW! So the human life loses it's value when it becomes an adult? I'm telling you the man in the sky people are total morons.

  • Medically necessary abortions will be covered. Elective - not medically necessary abortions will not be.

Your blaspheming and cursing make you sound like an unstable individual. Can you help swearing and cursing - or is it something you have no control over? That's too bad. Because otherwise you seem interesting to talk with.

  • Dude grow a pair and get past it. I live in Texas where the president (W) called someone a major ass hole and the V.P. used the "F" word on the senate floor. Stupid wants to deny ALL ABORTIONS! He wants innocent women to DIE if they can't afford a surgery that would save her life! He will never know what that is like! He will never hear "If we don't abort you will die!" from a Dr. He needs to stand down and makes Catholics look even more ridiculous.

  • "Grow a pair?" I'm a female, and I'd really rather not.

    Thanks just the same.

  • You don't know what you're missing.

  • What Texas village are you the idiot for?

  • Lets match wits retard. Shall we?

  • I no longer trust the catholics. They are showing themselves to be a hateful cruel religion. They are in the pockets of the insurance companies.

  • "In the pockets of the insurance companies?"

OK. All the Senate and the House have to do is rewrite the bill with language to the satisfaction of the pro-life members, and present it to the President to sign, and badda-bing! badda-boom! We've got health care!

What was so hard about that? No more insurance company pockets. All fixed!

  • The problem you ignorant dumb ass is that Stupid doesn't want any insurance company to cover abortion that participates in the exchange! So if Aetna wants in a woman can't pay for a different plan with Aetna OUT OF POCKET she can't. So if she is going to die unless she has the procedure that idiot wants her to pay out of pocket. If it is for convenience then THAT SHOULD NOT BE COVERED! Why should the choice be "pay for it yourself or die!"? You sick bastard!

  • Quit calling me names, or i won't read you.

    I won't tell you again.

Otherwise you get crickets chirping from me.

  • My apologies. I am sick of all the misleading BS and the nut jobs that continue to spew it. My frustration is increased because I have read the senate and house bills. There is no public funding for abortion. None. Stupid is in a round about way trying to end abortion. The problem is people that elect to abort pay out of pocket already. ($500.00 to $1,500.00) Insurance pays when it is life threatening. ($10,000.00+) He will punish the people that NEED it not ELECT it. See the difference?

  • Abortion performed to "save" a mother's life is almost never is necessary. In fact, Ireland -- a country where the unborn child is constitutionally protected -- has the lowest maternal death rate in the world. More than a decade ago, a group of Ireland's top obstetricians concluded that "there are no medical circumstances justifying direct abortion, that is, no circumstances in which the life of a mother may only be saved by directly terminating the life of her unborn child."

  • Then move to Ireland. My wife is Irish and we go there every two years. Their way of life is very different from ours. They are far more educated. They don't have the air and water pollution we do. I work in a hospital and have seen "God will save me" women die trying to give birth.

  • Oh, give me a break. They don't do C-sections in Irish hospitals?

Your blowing smoke up our asses, and it won't work, unless it's a damn fine pipe tobacco, and even then.

Until the turn of the 20th century, women often died in childbbirth when the baby wouldn't come out, or there was uncontrolled bleeding. Now with modern surgical procedures and antibiotics, it is safe to remove the baby from the mother through an incision in her abdomen. She recovers in about 3 wks.

    In Ireland, too.

  • OMG! I am referring to women that are advised BEFORE HAND that she WILL die if there is not an abortion. Not some complication that can be expected. How old are you?

  • Are you a professional idiot, or just an accidental idiot.

  • OK dumb ass, do you have a god damned question or are you too god damned stupid to grasp simple text?

  • More evidence this cult should be taxed to the hilt. They don't seem to grasp the concept of the separation of church and state. I would like to see an all atheist government. These ass holes believe some man in the sky knocked up a virgin named Mary. Too ignorant to know Jesus never existed. It is an ancient tale told by Egyptians. So let the woman AND child die if the mother's life is at risk? Here is a thought: if Jesus heals the child and saves the mother then cool. Until then STFU!

  • You want to see an all-atheist government?

Then why not visit China, Vietnam, or North Korea? Those are all officially atheist governments. No religion allowed.

I hope you'll find the happiness you seek in one of those lands under one of these free and benevolent governments, so much better than here in the United States where so many religious folk live.

  • HAHAHA! The funny thing is I have been to all those countries. Who is the USA 's bank? China! China has a great capitalist system where people enjoy a great way of life. So too is North Korea! Vietnam is still suffering the ravage of USA war. Dude there are so many Americans living in China! You have no clue! HAHAHA!

  • All righty then!

    Sounds like a plan!

Don't forget to pack your sunglasses, and don't forget to write.

    Happy atheist-ing!

  • Comment removed

  • both partys are a disgrace. selling out to the highest bidder everytime. its up to us the people to make things right. do not vote for these scum anymore.

  • So, Euphrosyne, could you guys hold back on the opposition until after the health bill passes so I can get some treatment? Then go after the abortion language if you really find out it's there. Honest, now - have you read the bill?

  • That was awful, but I want to watch it again.....

  • Now you're talking sense, Euphrosyne.

  • Bart Stupid is a god damned nut job. There is no funding for abortion in the bill. As a matter of fact it clearly reads "no public funding for abortion..." Stupid want a woman to die if her pregnancy will lead to her death. How fucking sick are you Jesus freak nut jobs? I wish there were a hell then you nut jobs would end up there.

  • Hey, mitchman, thanks for the shout-out. Keep it real, man! And enjoy the game.

  • Euphrosyne, you guys don't want me to wear a rubber, either. That's ridiculous, and so is your business model. How can you all insist on celibate priests and not expect high rates of perversity in the ranks? You all are just so medieval. And I even half way agree with you about abortion but you got no credibility.

  • Credibility? It's not my "credibility", my friend.

On that Awful Day when you stand alone before the Judgement Seat of the Almighty, you'll be the one answering the questions.

Not me. I'll be right behind you, with my hands full with matters of my own.

In other words, you don't answer to me, or to any man.

You know who you'll answer to.

  • Freedom fighters? Catholics tell people what to do. They better get the logs out of their eyes (think child abuse) before they go out trying to bother honest folk going about their own business.

  • "Honest folk" . . . burning with salt and ripping unborn children to pieces, you mean?

Last time I checked, people who did that kind of thing didn't pass muster as "honest folk." Last time I checked, honest-to-God "honest folk" would have said, "killing the child in the womb isn't a fit thing to speak about, much less to do."

  • Hey! Look everybody! It's STUPIDHEART ! .. er um .. Stupakheart? ... uh ... I don't know ... something just really really stupid.

  • Pregnancy is not a disease. Abortion is not health care.

A healthy female with a normal pregnancy is not sick, injured, or disabled, and there is almost never a *valid medical reason* to intervene, other than to keep mother and baby healthy.

Intervenions that result in the developing infant's death may be called many things, but "health care" is about 180 degrees opposite of what it is.

Abortion and infanticide are not health care.

  • How stupid is this? Stupak would wish that the whole country were Catholic. Sorry we reject your basic Catholic tenets against contraception, priests who can marriage, women who can be priests, a woman's right to chose, and your desire to impose your doctrine on the rest of America. We are a free country and our society is based on Freedom of Religion.

  • Would you have used the same arguments to retain slavery? How dared those 19th century Abolitionists tell slave owners that they couldn't own slaves. And they were Quakers, too! What an odd religion. Let's not let those Quaker weirdos tell the Episcopalian, Methodist and Baptist Southerners how they can live their lives!

I understand that some Asian illegal aliens are kept more or less prisoners in U.S. sweat shops even today. I do that, but I'm not Quaker, so that's OK for me, right?

  • @Euphrosyne1216 You equate slavery with contraception, priest who can marry, women who are priest, etc.? If so you belong to a truly sinister religion.

  • @ulstermandc - "sinister"? And not just "sinister", but "truly sinister" . . .?

Sheesh. I can see "stupid". I can see "tending to paint things with an overly broad brush." I can see "overreactive."

    But "sinister"?

A truly weird choice of words.

But, then, that fits: your assumption that I was alluding to contraception, women priests, etc. instead of to abortion *which this whole thread has been ABOUT* is a tad . . . weird, as well.

    So, there you are.

    Have a nice life.

  • @Euphrosyne1216 Your church is sinister. It starts with limits on abortion, and then proceeds from there. YOUR doctrine is against contraception - which is unconscionable in this time of AIDS, you are against women in the priesthood, even when the are more capable priest, you are against priest being able to marry, a medieval rule carried through to today, and abortion, for any reason - rape, incest, mothers life. That is your total doctrine, and you want Americans to adhere to it.

  • There were people living in 1st century Palestine who objected pretty strenuously to an itinerant preacher from Nazareth, too. They considered His claims "sinister" and "a threat to the civil order," and they put Him to death.

    Or so they thought.

That itinerant preacher and His apostles spoke of giving up all for the Kingdom of Heaven; this forms the basis for many of the teachings you object to.

"Sinister"? To those who know Him not, perhaps.

But to those who know Him, not at all.

  • @Euphrosyne1216 Really now? Do you think Jesus would be against contraception? It wasn't even invented in his time. And Jesus would say women are incapable of priesthood? Or that any apostle of his doctrine could not marry? My idea of who Jesus was is quite different than yours. I think I know him well.

  • I'm sure that your ideas of who Jesus is couldn't be more different from my own since you hate the Catholic Church.

But, moving on from there, it is as *an American* informed, yes, by my Catholic faith, that I object to the killing of the infant in the womb, my fellow citizen, and my brother or my sister. As *an American* I believe the infant in the womb is worthy of the same equal protection under the law that you or I enjoy. I want to recover the protections they once enjoyed.

  • @Euphrosyne1216 Sorry to disappoint you. I do not hate the Catholic church. I simply do not agree with their doctrine but if people like you want to believe it so be it. But don't use our democracy to impose your will on the rest of us. As for abortion, I would rather that it be used very rarely. I would like to think we could find common ground to figure out how to reduce it. But I would not cross the line to make it illegal and you would. So in that we could never agree.

  • "imposing your will" The sad fact is that the will for their death is imposed upon so many innocent litte ones every day. Why is it OK for adults to impose the will for death on them?

And it isn't always even the mother's decision alone. It's her parents. Or the father's, too. "Get rid of it, or I get rid of you," he says. What kind of a choice is that for her? "Imposing will"? God in Heaven! You have zero idea what some of these women go through.

  • I want to add to the above that Jesus called each of us to assist his or her neighbor, to be good Samaritans to those in need. It is to come to the assistance of the unfortunate and the vulnerable child that pro-life Catholic Americans and pro-life Americans in general seek to get laws passed - laws that we hope will protect these most vulnerable little ones from decisions that seek to destroy them. And laws that will protect the consciences of hospitals and doctors, too.

  • utube erases posts

  • The answer is THE PUBLIC OPTION - Then those who want it can go there & those who don't can go elsewhere!!

  • Stand with stupak?

We shouldn't even be debating whether abortion should be covered! No one has a right to any service, necessary or not!

Catholics, in reality, want socialism. Read the catechism.

  • Catholics, in reality, do not want Socialism, and the Catechism doesn't say anything of the kind.

In Socialist revolutions, the Catholic Church is always repressed 1st thing - the former USSR, in China, in Cuba, Vietnam, N Korea, & in the former E European bloc. The Church has always supported the right and freedom to marry, to choose to study, or a career, to own property, to start a business. Socialist govts always want to dictate these things and hate it when the Church opposes them.

  • Nearly every paragraph instructs the individual to sacrifice for the collective, to offer it up! Mother Theresa spoke about this at great lengths!

  • The difference is that in the Socialist State you sacrifice for the collective because jackbooted agents of the state kick your door in and hold a gun to your head. The jackboots say when, how, and how much.

Christians must pay taxes and obey the law, but beyond that are *free* to sacrifice for the good of the community - for example, their parish church - according to their own consciences, as they feel is right for them.

    That's the difference - freedom.

  • Christian's must pay taxes? What moral purpose does this serve? Is this part of the "Turn the other cheek" mantra?

And obeying the law? So I must wear a seat belt otherwise I am doomed?

  • As Catholics, yes, we are obligated to obey the *just* laws of the State, including paying just taxes.

Nowhere does the Catholic Church speak of anyone being "doomed". By *rejecting* God during our lives here on Earth, we may destroy our chances to enjoy eternal happiness with Him in the hereafter.

  • The tragic (TOXIC) dumbing down of the conservative movement 1950s-present: Buckley / Goldwater (rolling over in their graves) Nixon's Secret Plan & Southern Strategy Reagan (Trickle-down & MASSIVE DEBT) Religious right hijacks Jesus. GOP hijacks the flag. Limbaugh & Hate Radio Family values hypocrisy Fox "News" Bush/Cheney Palin Birthers Beck GOP-Baggers (GOP hijacks Tea Party.) The abyss? Conservatives, you are HERE.
  • hahahaha loved it

  • IF this health care take over is so good, why do the democrats have to bribe so many democrats to vote for it ? LOL. IF it is so good, why is a prison term imposed for not getting it ? LMAO. IF it is so good, why does Pelosi and Slaughter want to pass it without a vote ? LMAO. IF it so good, why haven't the democrats who are a majority in the house and senate not been able to pass it for over a year now ? LMAO. I'm just asking. LMAO

  • they just wanted a reason to block the bill, this is the only reason they could think of that social conservatives would blindly agree with....if youre stupid enough to think that they ACTUALLY care about abortions, youre a moron.

  • I suppose you could say the same about Obama, Pelosi, et al. They couldn't care less about a health care bill to actually help Americans - what they care about is any way they can to get health care dollars and power - for themselves and their buddies . . . and keeping themselves in office. Full stop.

Just goes to show this kind of argument can cut both ways, doesn't it?

  • Wow. The video makers really ascended a towering pinnacle of pathetic with this one.

How does the movie end for Braveheart Stupak? Is that a model you want to emulate? What's next, Stupak at the Alamo? Stupak with the Light Brigade? Stupak charging with Pickett?

Does it bother you that Stupak's official justification for his position is a pure, unadulterated lie? The Senate bill explicitly denies federal funds for abortion.

Then there's the lame cgi work and helter-skelter editing...

  • Botox is a right not a privilege.....ain't that right Nancy.

  • hahahaha

  • good video

  • You're the first person I've ever seen post a comment defending pedophile priests.

    Why is that?

  • Defending pedophile priests? No, my comment was about *your* tendencies, not theirs.

    Don't keep changing the subject.

How long have you had these . . . er, tendencies?

  • Now I'm really suprised! How long have you been supporting the corrupt Catholic Church in their defense of pedophile priests?

    Are you a priest?

You are obviously European - do many people in Europe think of pedophila as a "tendency", like you?

How do you justify the revelations of rampant child molestation by Catholic priests in Ireland?

  • Your apparent delight in attacking the Catholic Church in general and your glee over priestly paedophilia in particular is what I object to.

I'm no fan of the Chinese Communists, for example, but it would not make me happy to hear or to make sick jokes about the horrible abuses that happen in their orphanages.

Only a sicko would find such things worthy of jokes and jibes.

You enjoy making sick remarks about children suffering if you like. Don't expect me to laugh or to clap.

  • If the bill passes, I'm curious as to how it will all play out in court. The individual mandate will have to be left up to the SCOTUS, which Obama loves to insult as of lately. I do believe that a mandate can be upheld in the court, however I don't believe that the SCOTUS will uphold the federal supremacy of the mandate over state law. 35 states have pending legislation to nullify the federal mandate, and that's the real hurdle for Obama - I really feel that health care reform is a unicorn.

  • ROFL. Awesome.

As a Libertarian, Stupak is starting to fall into a very small group of Democrats worthy of respect.

Time will tell. I fear that it's all just theater being used to get Americans to stand down.

  • The USA is a strange country.

On the one hand it's a very modern country and on the other hand it's full of religious fanatics.

  • The abolitionist movement had its beginnings in several religious crusades in Britain and in the U.S. Some slave-holders found texts in the Bible that they claimed justified slavery; the mainstream of Christian believers eventually agreed that these justifications were as self-serving as the institution itself, which clearly violated human dignity

    .

God-fearing men and women have always understood that slavery, segregation, abortion & infanticide are serious offenses against the law of God.

  • Love this! now if more of congress would get a spine

  • Ooooooooooo i like this

  • What's kinda amusing about this is that William Wallace doesn't get what he wants.

If you're going to associate your agenda with an inspiring historical example, I'm pretty sure this isn't the one to pick. But whatever. . .

  • Sure! You want more? It's on it's way. Stick around.

  • Love this! Now if only more of congress would grow a spine

  • Love this! Now if only more of congress would grow a spine

  • This is why I'm an Atheist.

The life long cruel inhumane mental abuse needlessly heaped on these young woman who decide to abort a pregnancy of an undeveloped fetus is the exact opposite of humanism .

  • Undoubtedly, you would show more concern about the pain and suffering of a scallop than that of the human infant in the womb. And why not? It's tres chic to say you feel for trees, for mammals, and for fish, but it's so Neanderthal to argue that poisoning the infant in the womb and causing it to die slowly in agony, or cutting it to pieces with a sharp blade and removing it piece by piece from the mother's body is absolutely nothing other than a picnic . . . A PICNIC! . . . for all concerned.

  • Love this Now if more of congress had a spine like this

  • Love this! Now if only more of our congress had a spine like this

  • Love this , wish more of our representetives had a spine like this

  • Love this! If only more of our representitives had a spine like that!

  • Not only is this video stupid but what BS (Bart Stupak) is doing is all for naught. There is NO language in the bill being voted on that has monies designated for abortion. No Federal money goes to it.

  • I don't fault the catholics for this BS ad...its more likely a very thinly disguised Republican strategy ploy to score cheap easy support against the health care bill.

  • That was so wrong on so many levels. Why would you do that to that movie?

  • You religious nut jobs do know don't you that it would take something along another Spanish inquisition to shove your narrow minded ignorance down the educated majorities throats don't you?

Better get started now while the ignorant rage is still fresh in your ignorant little minds.

  • Please brotherjupiter use a thesaurus, mentioning the word "ignorance" 3 times in your fragment of a paragraph renders the power of the word to a useless level.

  • Just because they say they are religious people it doesn't mean they are good people. Stupak, the Catholic priests, have very well demonstrated that pedophilia can be protected by religion and as it happened in Germany, the Pope can re-establish youir power and your priesthood after a while. Hypocricy on abortion doesn't work as well. Clandestine abortion brings to rich women to have abortion and spend tons of money in catholic private clinics and poor people ... just to die.

  • Nice. Just like the Catholic church to use Braveheart for this piece which was voted one the most historically inaccurate movies of all time by multiple sources (Google it). But hey, I guess it's better than fondling little boys. Baby steps. Baby steps.

  • These guys are looney tunes and need to be thrown out of every office.

what do they think this is? A freakin circus?

  • Fuck Stupack. Who pays for his C street apartment?

  • If Jesus was walking the earth today . . . long hair, unmarried, wandering around with a group of guys, ex-prostitutes . . . calling out the "religious" leaders as hypocrites - modern day conservatives and Republicans would have NOTHING to do with Him. They would MOCK Him (and His liberal ways).
