& that is a piece of selfish shit responsible for not saving energy, heck they're going to be underwater as a consequence. Americans are so fucking selfish. See here in canada, in toronto, we have yonge dundas squares with it's billboards and signs, and ALL OF THEM turned off for earth hour.

DO you see all those people with cameras looking at the billboards? They were all waiting for them to turn the lights off.. Us Americans are not selfish at all we can not control what the major companies owning these signs can do. I live on long island and turned my lights off. So go back to being Canadian.

Yup! Plus city ordinance requires the lights. Turn it off and you could risk a ticket.
