  • LOVE IT! I wish I could do something like that but my Parents hate Halloween whenever I try to buy something or make something it always fails. Any advice, You seem like an expert? lol

  • @PolishGal4eva 1st, sorry your parents don't like Halloween. 2nd, I'm far from an expert. I enjoy seeing the kids look at the decorations on Halloween. And honestly, the best thing about Halloween decorations is they don't have to be perfect!!! Look at my stuff. Just make it scary!! My only advice to you is never stop trying. Always listen to your heart, follow your gut and do what makes you happy. If you make something, let me know! I'll bet ya that I'll like it! Thanx much for the comment!

  • I would've put more light on Mr.Red if I were you because he looked so cool, but still really cool. good job

  • @MKLEEGEDUDE Thanks for the idea! Appreciate it!

  • Please respond! What kind of lights did you use for behind the tombstones/graveyard?

  • @JeffreyChangaHHN They are just a cheap outdoor floodlight with a spike that goes in the ground. I had 4 lights, two with red bulbs and two with green bulbs. Thanks for asking.

  • The yard looks great. WHen it showed the drak I got creeped out, im not gonna lie -_-

    The corpse/skeleton looks very cool with the red light on him.

  • @claressadubs Appreciate the compliment. Do you have any vids on here? I'd like to see them. Maybe I can learn some tips from you all!

  • The mummy is seriously creepy! Happy Halloween to you too!

  • @CathMar3 Appreciate it! That is the effect I was going for!

  • @HYPRUK Thank you! Well, I'm pretty busy at work and don't know if I'll get to build anything this year. I was thinking about making a wicked witch. We'll see!

  • @SuperSparksTV First, thank you for the comment. Second, I agree that it helps the halloween mood. And third, hope you and your dad have a great time getting decorations and putting them up. If you post any vids, let me know!

  • This is really really cool! Do you make new things every year?

  • for the spider u couldaove done it with a trash bag and leaves

  • @samuelgerullisful That's true but I wanted something that was a little more hardy that would last a couple of seasons. Thanks for the comment!

  • @Yewtoobnube i agree i made a trash bag one and after a year or two it was destroyed

  • Is their a video showing how you made Mr Pumpkin Head? I would really love to make my own. We just got my 1st house and i need to make some stuff this year. lol

  • @lizzar615 I don't have a video, but I do have a bunch of photos taken during the build. I might try to string them together in video form and post if. Thanks for commenting.

  • Oh my gosh- what a huge amount of work! It looks so great!! Very well done and I'd love to see more!!

  • @camilelcoyne Thanx for the nice comments. It's a little work, but worth it for the neighborhood kids! I try to expand a little each year. Do you put up displays? Any vids uploaded?

  • @Yewtoobnube I bet the neighborhood kids go crazy for your haunt! The shadows for Mr Red and Mr. Pumpkinhead are angled perfectly and I love all the detail in both! We put up a little yard and porch haunt and we do the same thing you do of trying to add to it each year or change things to keep it fresh. Thank you for asking! It's always a treat to chat with a fellow haunter! I'd love to see what you have cooking for this year. :)

  • @camilelcoyne I'm sure I'll have to make something new! U r too kind! Thanx again!

  • Love the mummy man... Love it... :)

  • @HardcoreHalloween Thank ya!

  • you are lucky it doesnt rain on those paper mache decorations it always rains on my halloweens:[

  • @ProggyDox Actually, this is the first Halloween that it didn't rain on them. It always rains on them. Every year, I give them another good coat of clear lacquer paint. This has seemed to protect them for the last couple of years. I store them out of the weather as well. Thanks for posting.

  • HAHAHA i was like woah how did it became dark i thought he turn off the light switch but it was outside hahahaha xD

  • @0509AZ LOL

  • @lildrumadude Thanx for taking the time to comment!

  • This is excellent you are very creative thank you for sharing!

  • @irwingate Awe, shucks....thanx for the kind words. Appreciate it.

  • That's a great setup! I wish I could do all that. Just no real interest here, and not many kids where I live. One idea though.. The spider.. Make it movable.. Like put in on a track, remount the legs onto short stiff springs so they bounce and move a little then have it shoot down the track once in a while towards where people are walking. After a pause have it slowly roll back up the track. I may try that out just for kicks. Animations for Halloween are pretty neat! Thanks!

  • @Tazameir Thanx for commenting and thanx for the idea. I just may work on that next Halloween!

  • really cool thanks for your ideas

  • wow

  • @QuinnManning Thanx.

  • great work dude

  • @IsThisGuyForReal78 Hey, Thanx. I appreciate that!

  • Love this very spooky. Tfs

  • @debbiehayslrtte Thanx much!!

  • Excellent work! I haven't tried anything with paper mache. I'd be interested to know more about how you made the red guy. I'm trying to come up with some activities for a kid's party. These are cool ideas but I'd have to make small versions I think for kids to take home.

  • @awebermorales Sorry it took so long to reply. I used a foam skull. Cut off and lengthened the jaw by using popsicle sticks. I then used a hot glue gun to cover the face. This took a while and a lot of glue sticks. Made the teeth out of hot glue. Painted everything. The body is a PVC skeleton. I thin wrapped chicken wire around the torso to give it volume. That's it. Good luck!!

  • pretty cool creations and good ideas. i love the mummy and pumpkin the most. Happy Halloween

  • @CrazyGhostAdventures Thanx much for commenting! Happy Halloween right back atcha!

  • Great work! Thanx 4 sharing! I LUV the Pumpkin head guy and the mummy in window! Bravo!

  • @julzabro Thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. Mr. Pumpkinhead is my favorite...he was the most labor intensive, but I think it was worth it.

  • Awesome!!! Have you considered making more videos this year?

  • @legonerfer27 I don't think I'm making anything new this year so I doubt I'll do a vid.

  • i love ur mummy

  • @legozombie1 Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it!

  • @legozombie1 Thanx much!

  • @legozombie1 Love the creativity and how long does it take for the paper to dry once you made um?

  • @Furch I put about 6 layers of paper mache' on it, but I did it in a warm garage. I let it set for one day after completion before painting. Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it.

  • omg ur 2009 house rocks email me tips at supermat@gmx.com

  • i name my decorations to lol

  • @TheTman171 Thanks for the compliment. Actually, the skeleton was a cheap $10 one we bought @ Odd Lots and hung it from a branch with a rope . I enjoyed your haunted house vid.

  • @Yewtoobnube thanks dude ya its ok but might do a new vid of it soon

  • I really like Mr. Pumpkinhead. He looks very cool.

  • @ericl20001 Thank you for commenting. It's appreciated!

  • this is very creative, and as someone who is artistic myself, i can really say this is an awesome work of art you did. very creepy, and halloween is my favorite holiday. i'm so glad halloween is coming up, and thanks to your creations i'm excited for it now.

  • omg you live by me

  • @jobro4203 Well, hopefully you've enjoyed the yard and the halloween candy!

  • I give you major credit for actually making most your own decorations. I know how much work it is and a lot of the time it goes unappreciated. Absolutely love Mr. Pumpkin Man! Very creative and creepy!

  • @Miss1983Mandy THANKS very much for the compliment! I appreciate it. Ya know, when the neighborhood kids enjoy the yard, that's what makes it all worthwhile! Not sure how much longer I'll keep it up tho...not much room to store all the stuff! Again, thanks very much for taking the time to post your comment!

  • @Yewtoobnube Nooooo you HAVE to keep doing it ! LOL Gotta keep the Halloween spirit alive! I only wish my husband was as into it as I am :( Don't get me wrong, it's so much fun planning, decorating & being creative ~ but having someone who's just as into it as you are makes it all the more better! Try selling some of your homemade decorations on ebay. That will give ya more room and more money to do MORE stuff!! haha Keep on haunting my friend.

  • @Miss1983Mandy Awe, you're too kind! I appreciate your enthusiasm! I checked and you have no uploads. IF you decide to put up a video of your place on Halloween....holler at me so that I can check it out! Deal?? Thanks again. Very nice of you! (I subscribed to ya incase you upload a vid!)

  • @Yewtoobnube Oh it's a deal :) I'm actually having a Halloween costume party this year. So I'll deffinately be taking some videos of decorations and maybe even the party itself. Now let's just hope I can figure out how to get the video on youtube! haha

  • @Miss1983Mandy Well, lemme know if you put up a vid. Love to check it out.

  • @Yewtoobnube BTW ~ Do you happen to have a facebook? :)

  • Is the mummy something you put over the window that looks 3D or did you make him? Love your yard!!!!

  • @TheDapa4por The mummy was printed on a thin plastic sheet. I taped it up into the inside of the window. I think I paid about $15 for it. Thanks for commenting!

  • LOVE your yard!! I wish I could "trick or treat" at your house. Awesome job. Happy Halloween!! ^v^

  • @Halloweenobsessed1 Hey, thanks a lot for the compliment! I really appreciate it!

  • Awesome how ya'll make all ya'll props!!

  • @cultclassicnerd Thanks very much for the compliment! Appreciate it!

  • You got some cool props!Look like you put some time in them.I've seen the mummy on sites,now I want one that I seen how good it looked at your house!!! Happy Halloween,better hurry,were runnin outta time!!!

  • @waynelaquet Thanks for commenting! You're right....Halloween is right around the corner!

  • Very cool - thanks for answering my ??'s! I would've felt the same way about the mummy. And now I have an alternative when my kids are always asking for those expensive spiders at the store! Thx!

  • @lisamariemary You are very welcome.

  • The pumpkin head man is awesome! And I love how simple the chicken wire spider is - cool! Did you make the mummy in the window - or is that store-bought thing - because that looks WICKED COOL!

  • @lisamariemary thanks very much for the compliment. Mr. Pumpkinhead is my favorite. The spider only took a short while to build. The mummy is store bought. On my way home right before Halloween and I saw it and had to get it!

  • Your pumpkin head is my fav, I love the long fingers!!

  • @Karmaslaugh Thanks. He's my favorite too!

  • "Mr Red" Is great you should light him up at night and your spider too. I haven't seen anyone use plywood for gravestones before - In Los Angeles plywood is very expensive it seems like it warps too.

  • @Onsteadvideos Thanks for commenting. The kids like Mr. Red too...not my fav tho. Thanks again.

  • Great job! I like Mr. Red...

  • Very creative! 5 stars

  • Thank you very much. It makes the neighborhood kids happy for sure!

  • Very nice display! I like your Pumpkin Scarecrow, sort of the style of "Pumpkinrot" Scarecrows. I would attempt one, but I can never perfect paper mache.

  • Thanks very much for the comment! Mine don't compare to teh Pumkinrot Scarecrows...theirs are simply awesome. The paper mache is definately challenging. I am thinking about doing my next haunt in fiberglass. Thanks again!

  • very cool! you should hustle em out to the neighbors and friends! i think i might try to make one i would like to make a hog to put next to my smoker. how do you suppose i should start it?

  • Dude, i think you should stick to the awesome smokers that you make. i've subscribed to your channel and i hope to learn and possibly try to build one myself!

  • Nice job on your pumpkin, Mr. Red and your corpse. It turned out really good!

  • Thanks much! We appreciate it!

  • good job. The props are well done. A little spider webbing would add a nice touch too.

  • thank you for the comment. we plan to do a little more next year.

  • woah that looks awesome!...I wonder what it would look like with a bit o fog...

  • thank you. we do use a fogger every halloween....we run the fog thru a box with ice to help keep it hugging the ground.

  • wow, my kids enjoyed it very much! GOOD JOB!

  • Thank you. I appreciate it. That's why we do it...for the kids!

  • wow i loved it!!!!

    ~~~Dortae~~~ happy haunts
  • Thanks very much for commenting.
  • u sure have taken a lot of trouble to do the decorations. will u be putting up decorations for christmas too? wud love to see those on here. great job!
  • Yeah I do, but I don't make anything for Christmas...lights and blow ups.
  • Dude, that looks awesome. Didnt know people even did this stuff.
  • Thanks. Yeah, lots of people do it.
