Valle still dabbles with Bison and he's much better with him now, I've always like Alex Valle and his play style, not necessarily because he's an incredibly skilled player but because his matches are always interesting to watch.

No offense to Daigo and Co, but watching a match between a couple of Ryu players on the pro circuit usually plays out like a shitty episode of Dragonball Z.

Ohhh,I misread what you said man,my bad.I thought you were talking about his winning aspecs being boring.You were talking about the overall awe of the fighting certain players bring to the table.But still man,SF 4 is deep but dont get me wrong here but its deep in such a simplistic manner that it takes away most of those tricks that we learnt in the past SF games thus leaving little room for stylish type matches.Being a Guile main I do things outta the box as well.EX canceled sonic booms anyone?

Well, Justin Wong's Chun Li game in 3rd Strike was also boring as fuck to watch. He just poked you and turtled until he got his SA up.

Also, there is a fairly big difference in the way people present themselves here (U.S.) and the way people are in Japan when it comes to competitive play. Over here, we'll shit talk and act like complete fucking dicks to each other, and we can shrug it off and say "gg". In Japan, they tend to be more about good sportsmanship and not showing up someone.

Fair enough but I dont think Justin was trying to b a huge dick or anything, hundreds of people were wathcing him, routing for him, hoping he'd win. Can you blame him for trying to work the crowd a little, at least we know it means somethig to him. Dont know about everyone else but its a little dissatisfying when a gamer is crowned greatest SF player in the world and he barely cracks a smile.

Nah, it's completely understandable-- in a sense it kind of reminds me of Fedor Emelianenko. A lot of Hardcore MMA fans pretty much say pound-for-pound he's the greatest fighter in the world (its always going to be disputed)-- yet he's incredibly quiet, shows no real emotion, and half the time when he's fighting he looks like he just got out of bed. You never see him excited about winning aside from that half-assed grin time-to-time

Daigo is just ridiculously humble haha.

No matter how you look at it Daigo is a brilliant player and tactician when it comes to Street Fighter, I dont approve of defensive tactics, mainly due to how uninteresting it is to play that way but you cant knock him, he has a good offensive game as well, he hits hard and makes his opponent pay for mistakes. Gotta admire that.

But that's the thing, man. Daigo doesn't give a shit about being the greatest SF player in the world.....He just plays because he loves it. It's just how he is. He breathes SF. Its' his almost like his life, and to him it's like someone crowning and cheering you for eating a breakfast, which they shouldn't, it's just breakfast. To him, it isn't a big deal, anyone can win, and anyone can win against him, and he realizes that. He really doesn't see why people make a big deal over him.

Think about it like this: you don't need to wait for the animation of one scissors kick to finish before you can start charging another one. Hope that helps.

It's called charge buffering. You start charging the move at the startup of your special move.

A good example would be Dictator's Double Knee Press. Instead of inputing the standard back(charge)->forward+kick input the command as follows: back(charge)->forward->back+ki­ck. This will perform the Double Knee Press and begin charging for your next special at precisely the same moment your special is executed.
