I have watched alot of A380 video's and i have yet to see one where the landing is any good,it seems everyone i watch its one hell of a bang when it lands,I love this aircraft and hope one day to fly on one but i still don't like the amount of runway they use its scary even though i know its a big thing to get of the floor.I live next to Manchester Airport and see it nearly everyday(Emirates)and it just seems to crawl above the houses very scary and i am not a nervous flyer seems slow to get up.

@ddyynnax Lufthansa named the A380s after the main destinations of the A380 and after some other important cities to Lufthansa - like Wien for example

Typically German styled interiour compered to the product from Emirates or Singapore Airlines. Even the talking from the captain is like in the morning in an office. The Qantas guys have more fun and enthusiasm in their voices and they give you the nicest feeling you can get on board. Nice airline but a little boring ( LH )

Amazing Video!!! I love it, as it reminds me of my first travel on airbus to Frankfurt on August 21. It's like I was on the same flight - everything is just so the same except that I was unable to capture the experience on video but it still lives in my memory vividly. Thx for sharing!!!!

@SDMullis sure, but you are one lucky basterd to be flying A380, I'm flying to England to meet up with my grandparents, and its going to cost me an extra $2000 dollars just to get there if I want to fly A380 Singapore Airlines, instead I'm flying 777-300 Emirates (but still a fantastic plane though).

When they 'flap' they aerodynamically bank the aircraft left or right for a turn. That's the easiest description I can give you :).

Great video! I flew on Air France A380 JFK-CDG and both landings were very hard! Nice job with edit and HD quality...overall it's a great plane, and I say that being a Boeing fan all my life...congrats.

@MrCars That's the engines slowing the plane down. The reverse thrust. It is a pretty huge plane with lots of weight to slow down.
