I'm currently on my third viewing of this video... I am seriously completely floored by how perfect that timing was. I can only imagine how cool that must have felt being there. If only the recording had started 20 seconds earlier... but this is still amazing.

There's no way we could've planned that. We knew the chances were good a plane would fly over while we were out there, so we played it when one went over. The 2nd one? That was just scary.

What this video doesn't reveal is that Rookie Card were playing another song (do they call it "Happy Endings"?), then broke into "USSR" when a plane flew over. That another plane flew over to end the song was perfect coincidental timing. The guitar solo sounds muted because the amp is inside the Casbah, not out on the "second stage". You can see me at 1:41 and 3:18.
