There only "official" statement is to say that they do not see Evolution and the belief in God as mutually exclusive beliefs/ideas. @lizazoon Micro-evolution is a scientific fact. We can observe it and watch it take place. However, macro-evolution is a theory and an impossible one at that. Macro-evolution requires new DNA to be formed and completely new characteristics to be added to the species. Unlike Micro-evolution, Macro-evolution has never been observed; only put together from fossil remains. I do NOT agree with Macro-evolution which goes against my faith, but I do agree with Micro-evolution which is a scientific fact.

Evolution is in fact a theory that has NEVER been proven, no matter how much you believe in it, you will NEVER prove true. @lizazoon If evolution is proven, then why is it still a theory? Why are there so many missing links? Why have biologists mixed dinosaur bones with modern bird bones to make up missing links? A fact or a scientific law must be 100% correct. Failure to meet only one challenge proves the law is wrong. A frog will never turn into a prince, no matter how many millions of years you give it. You cannot prove something that can't be observed, evolution from a species to another has never been observed.

@lizazoon The Catholic church has not dogmatic or official decree making Evolution or Creation part of the official faith. There only "official" statement is to say that they do not see Evolution and the belief in God as mutually exclusive beliefs/ideas. In other words, while they will not simply pick one of the other, they don't see Evolution as a contradictiont to the belief in God. They were not "forced to accept it."

@lizazoon Micro-evolution is a scientific fact. We can observe it and watch it take place. However, macro-evolution is a theory and an impossible one at that. Macro-evolution requires new DNA to be formed and completely new characteristics to be added to the species. Unlike Micro-evolution, Macro-evolution has never been observed; only put together from fossil remains. I do NOT agree with Macro-evolution which goes against my faith, but I do agree with Micro-evolution which is a scientific fact.

Micro-evolution involves the changing of traits that already exist on a creature, but Macro-evolution involves the creation of completely new traits, such as monkeys growing wings. This has never been seen or observed and considering it would require the forming of a lot of completely new DNA it seems impossible this could ever happen...

I used to think the Bible was just a lot of fairy tales when I was your age azsuperman. Then I started reading it and realized that it wasn't just fairy tales. I already believed in all these things Ron Wyatt talks about before I saw his videos....except the Ark of the Covenant discovery....that was quite a shocker. I have no doubt that he found the Ark of the Covenant like he said. I don't believe in a literal first chapter of Genesis entirely. Get past Genesis 1. Read John.

I"ve never seen them personally just like I have never seen the Ark of the Covenant personally. I didn't go to the moon personally with the astronauts but I have no doubt that they landed there. Perhaps the moon landing would have gone unreported too if the astronauts had found God's throne.

Look at your kids, are they EXACT replicas of you? No. Ta Da! There is evidence of evolution! Genetic changes over each generation... now multiply those tiny changes over vast amounts of time... Those tiny changes add up to HUGE changes when they accumulate over millions of generations.
Also, feel free to read a biology book, or visit a natural history museum and look at the transitional fossils yourself.

If you cannot accept it once you have looked at all his arguments that is fair enough but dismissing it because someone told you that evolution means all monkeys change into humans is ridiculous.
Even a quick look at wikipedia on the subject of evolution will inform you better than you seem to be.
