To all evolutionists (worshippers of matter and coincidence)
BIG question:how is it possible that the kinesin know where to go?
Why you guys always use the words: creationists don't want to understand, don't want to see, they ignore evidence etc.etc. The logic that you guys use that nothing, but only coincidence, is scientific is a flawed one and is the shame and disgrace of the current century. Science is only a tool that shows god's creation/power. We come closer to god through science.
The fact that kinesin always moves to the axonic terminal happens because when it binds to the microtubule the conformational arrangement between the protein and the microfilament guides the heads on only one direction. If you consider that all the kinesins share traits among them, one of those traits is a structure in the heavy chains that when it interacts with the microfilament, only one direction for movement is possible
To all creationists we know why kinesin knows where to go. It is because microtubules (where these proteins walk upon) are polarized.
there is a protein (dyanin) which goes in opposite direction. To date, God and coincidence are still there to explain things that can't be explained yet. But in this universe there is no coincidence, only laws. Why are there laws or who made them is the only matter we should disagree on. (evolution = active proces, unbelievers are either uneducated or religious)
Well if it hasnt evolved in general, then it means it is not worth evolving, therefore our mechanism of walking is probably more efficient for current living.
The proteins are programmed to do what they do by our genes. Nothing motivates proteins. They are like a thermostat on the wall. They respond to certain conditions automatically.
@2bornot2b1984 The proteins don't need to know what they do. They do what they do because of their physical and chemical properties. Just like hot air ascends and cool air descends: that's because of their relatives densities and not because the hot air knows he must go higher and higher.
Hot air rising? That is kind of oversimplified. We are talking about little machines that unravel dna until they "know" they are at the correct position. match up bits of protein to form building block chains, then other little machines that know when to carry them over to another machine which then has the strings fed into it, and folds them into particular shapes depending on what is required.
That could be argued as intelligence, hot air rising can not.
@2bornot2b1984 I somewhat agree with you, but the fact is that "knowing" is still the result of biochemical reactions that dictate the movement or confirmation changes in these proteins; they are following the laws of physics and chemistry just as hot air rises because of these same laws (just much simpler applications of them).
"they are following the laws of physics and chemistry"
You are using your premise as evidence of itself
what causes one machine to take protein strings over to another machine so it can fold them into different shapes.
I know your premise is that physics causes it.
But that does not mean there is not intelligence. If I decide to swat a fly, both me and the fly are subject to the laws of physics. Yet still, intelligence is the inception of the actions/reactions.
@slicerx08 They "know" when to start making new proteins and when to stop. They "know" WHEN the protein strands are ready to be transported to the chaperonin. The chaperonin "know" WHEN the folding process is complete. And the chaperonin "know" what shape to fold each protein strand into.
@ReligionIsACrutch I mean...basically 125,000 steps that a motor protein-kines-in has to get through to successfully march along every millimeter of a self assembling-micro tubule. That's equivalent to THE THICKNESS OF A DIME. It's simply amazing!!! And all through natural processes powered by ADP. Evolution is just so staggering & beautiful, don't know y why ppl have to give any credence to a creator....Indeed, yes we have a soul!
I am not exactly sure what you are asking but the kinase protein transport is certainly systematic. The animation makes it look a bit asymmetrical but if you look at it from the top it looks much better. Kinase transport proteins carry out many different functions throughout the cell. One of which carrying the new proteins from the smooth ER to the golgi appartus.
Is this the 'symmetric inchworm' mechanism? It looks asymmetric to me, with one heavy chain always hand-over-hand and the other always inchworming. If they are homodimers how could they possibly function by different mechanisms?
Kinesin definitely walks like a boss!

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOL @ EMINOV1.
Seriously, for all those debating, dont even bother reading his arguments since it isn't even a proper debate.
Religion = accessible and used by anyone, and often misinterpreted.
Science = Only accessible by people who are knowledgeable.
Therefore proper discussion/arguments between the two should involve people who actually represent and understand their own religion.
