thats now how the original Sakura Kinomoto was like. her american personality is lame...

and the voices.. blehhh... and they didnt have as much detail or nuttin..:P

@JessiGirlPro  This was actuly a well done dub.... the dubbing company realized that if they stayed loyal to the original japanese version..... boys wouldnt watch the show..... so they gave Li a larger part.... which doubled the ratings for "Cardcaptors"...... it was a brilliant market startagy

@JessiGirlPro It never was on cartoon network it was on "Toonami Weekdays on kids WB" Kid's WB had a "Toonami block" for thier weekday line up for a little bit....

@Mortskcab no cartoonnetwork had it a part of their own toonami lineup as well for a brief time. Show did air on Kids WB first though without a doubt.

@CorbeauKarasu The dub did its job though..... Cardcaptors was Kid's WB's 2nd biggest show (behind pokemon)..... talk shit about the dub all you want... but it still did it's job...... IT MADE MONEY!

I'm CCS fan and I love this Cartoon Network promo for American viewers since 2001.

Although Toonami is no longer be aired for today, however I still prefer this promo much better on Animax. Thanks for the upload! Cardcaptor Sakura ROCKS!!

The CCS dub might have royally sucked, but damn, Toonami made it sound and look sooooo cool! Peter Cullan can make anything sound badass with that voice of his..!

The dubbed didnt suck until you either read the manga or watched the japanese version then you realized that the dub was way off

@Mortskcab I know that they were trying to get it to compete with pokemon. I personally liked the show and i guess kids wb knew what they were doing cause im a guy LOL it was just off by a mile with the original work but i still enjoyed it
