I lived in France for a while and visited Paris many times . . . This is stunning! I love this video, it captured some nuances about Paris that are overlooked or left out completely from the usual videos. And by the way, never was a French person rude to me or apathetic about meeting/chatting with me. They were always happy to meet an American. Now I am a French teacher. J'adore la France et les Français! Quel beau pays!

@eliaviel1 I don't want to speak engleash so please translate : La france apprécie les touristes oui pour l'argent (comme tous les pays) mais aussi pour l'image du pays et pour offrir aux touriste culture, passion, rêve etc... Si Paris est la ville la plus touristiques ce n'est pas seulement pour ses monuments et je sais de quoi je parle, c'est aussi pour l'accueil que les gens offre. Après tu peux croire ce que tu veux j'ai assez de connaissance pour savoir ce qu'on pense des touristes.

@MagiKz44 Mr. Magik, I have noticed that many French people refrain from speaking English. When I was greeted 'Hello' in French and answered back in English, I was ususlly ignored the next time. You French people have a problem ! Try to be adorable and endear yourselves to others, I remember visiting the African country, Madagascar , which gets an influx of French tourists. None of you greet the others when coming inside a restaurant or a public place. What is the matter with you all ?

@eliaviel1 hello eliaveliel, i'm french and i live in Paris, When i go in a different country, I don't say Bonjour "hello in english" i say the translate of hello in language of the country, In France we call that "savoir vivre", for us, french, it's polite to say hello, thanks, please, in the language of the country. it mean you do effort to speaking with us, and we appreciate that, when it's not the case, it's rude.

Alors, chapeau, Luc Besson a fait un film magnifique pour vendre Paris pour les jeux olympiques de 2012 et pourrait ètre rentabilisé aujourdhui pour faire la promotion internationale de Paris et on ne s'en sert pas, je trouve çà absoluement hallucinant !!! Ce film de trente minutes est léché, minutieux, nous fait literralement planer au dessus de Paris avec grace mais quel gachis !!! Le monde entier regarde youtube, c'est dommage de pas leur donner encore plus envie de venir nous voir...voilà.
