  • This sounded better on the Griffith Park Stinson.

  • Ohh now yer gonna get it!!

  • LOL!

  • Whats the worst they can do, sick the MMD on me? Even the UN has more use than they do.

  • Yeah I quit that a few years back

  • @wurly164

    No kidding!

  • @wurly164 Yep!

  • That is serial no. 3030.

  • Nice! Now all three public Wurlitzer 165s are on YouTube! I hope the museum produces a CD of this organ someday.

  • There was a LP recording of it done in the late 70's ..

  • What are the other two?

  • The Glen Echo WurliTzer 165 & the Santa Cruz WurliTzer 165, I believe.

  • Thanks if you can get back there and get another shot of the Wurlitzer 165. I checked and Serbeck Shows is still in business. They are based in Michigan. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in CA and Glen Echo Park in MD are the other 2 places that have Wurlitzer 165 band organs on public display and perform..

  • This is one of the earlier WurliTzer 165s. The raised panels were eliminated on the later versions of this organ so large landscapes could cover the entire organ face.

  • They have a great collection on of pneumatic players at the museum Mechanique. These things are cool.

  • What a handsome organ! A lovely tune as well!

  • Thank you for posting this video!!! I wanted to hear the Wurlitzer 165 they have there. There are only 10 left, and one of 3 that are on public display. It plays pretty well. It could use some tuning. The king of Wurlitzer band organs. Wish it would play next to a carousel!

  • UR welcome ,,I'LL shot some more vid of it when i go back ..:)

  • The song that is playing is "Zacatecas March".

  • THANK YOU :)

  • Whats the tune?
