To make to sabers look in the bottom left of the program screen and choose a new layer in the layer place. To make things easier click settings then keyframe editing. Once you do that you are able to skip frames and LS maker will fill the ones in between them for you. Hope this helps :)

well, Hollywood producers use programs that can capture the color of the item being used to replace the effect, and that will save you time. Basically what happens is, they take the color selector drop it over a green lightsaber, then use the script for auto follow with ____ (effect such as lightsaber beam), then you prop the angles (which takes prob like 2 -3 hours). propping angles is when you show the computer what angles and parts of the green prop are the what pars of the light saber.

Well, I stopped using LS Maker like a year ago, but even in different software, the only way I've found to make this effect work is by working with frame by frame. Even if you have a green LS and can replace the color and everything, you still need to analyze the footage frame by frame to make everything look nice and smooth.

Good work man!If you want to do more than one lightsaber effect. In the bottom right corner there is a measure that says "layer". Click up to go to another layer, for each layer you can maker one effect. To preview all of your effects at once click "Render Frame".

best way to do this.

go to goole and search "rad video tools"

click the first on and download.

then install, open it, select your file, then click the button that says "convert a file" then dont mess with anything, click convert, it'll as you what compressor you want, make it say full uncompressed or something, then click ok, wait till its done, and there you go!!

Try using sony vegas pro 8.0...its better i think and more smooth

you just have to rotoscope the lightsaber and in the last point increase the width of the beam, depending on the movement.

Download them and then edit them in any video editing software. iMovie or Windows Movie Maker are the defaults of Mac OS and Windows.

thats pretty good for a first try. but, if you want to go really crazy with some effects and make then look real nice you should try sony vegas 6 or adobe after effects. yeah they take longer but the end result comes out good. nice video.
