  • In your blog phase 4 and what I ate on phase 3 you say that you just started phase 4 and would only be in it 5 days and then going to load again and start another round of phase 2. So you do not have to wait 6 wks to start a second round? I have a lot of wgt to lose and want to start the reload and phase 2 as soon as I can so let me know please.

  • @margaretchism Back then, I did not wait the appropriate breaks to start hcg again. I would not recommend that - its best to follow protocol and wait 6 wks.

  • What kinds of fruits do you eat besides strawberries? I heard that all berries are great on the glycemic index. The fatty foods such as cheese are working out for me but I worry about the long run. Wondering if it will kick me in the butt later and built bad habits. I am doing great. Just dont want to ruin it.

  • is it okay to eat mustard with almost everything i eat.. im on phase one.. day two.. yesterday i had probably 1900 calories.. didnt really eat that bad.. im thinking of just starting my 500 calories today... youre videos are really helpful. i weigh 140.. and i wanna get down to 125 atleast... got any helpful tips for me for these next few weeks.

  • @ashtonfeight10 Mustard is fine to eat as long as it doesn't show any sugars in the ingredients. Some have corn syrup in it! I would do 2 full days of loading before starting the 500 calories. Focus on high fat foods...1900 calories doesnt sound like much.

  • @mamaclok Hi, quick question. Where do your 4 phases come from. Is there a different protocol? I thought there were only 3 phases 1) 500 calories (+HCG) 2)No starch, no sugar 3)slowly re-introducing starch and sugars. Thanks for reading this! Looking forward to my cheese! :)

  • Hi, I was wondering if you have ever tried the Chocolate Delight on P2, if at all? Thanks for this video. I am on day 12 of P2 (not counting FL days), but I'm trying to gather information for P3. I heard Coconut Oil helps increase metabolism,so is it good to use on P2? I don't want to use anything to slow down my weight loss- as of this AM I'm down 13#. I would love to actually lose 25-30 total on this first round. I lost 150# just thru diet & now have 21 left to lose to hit my goal.

  • @LJC320 I tried the choc delight once on p2 and I gained 2 lbs. the next day! I had cooked w/ coconut oil also. Can't say it helped my losses at all. You can try it and see how it works for you...otherwise, save it for p3.

  • I am getting ready to start phase 3, I noticed you used splenda.. I just discovered today that it has sucralose and dextrose. I know in one of your vlogs you said watch for those names. I cannot find pepperoni, sausage, or bacon without sugar or dextrose.

  • how many calories can you have on p3 and are you aloud to use splenda , i thought i heard you say that,.I heard splenda is not good for you. help

  • @Msbabeej77 There is no limit on calories. Some people eat a certain number of calories based on their weight/height. I never counted calories. I do use Splenda. I've heard its not good for us...but it doesnt seem to effect me in any bad way. (that I know of at least) lol.

  • I love this video. I have lost 85lbs and each round I watch this again when I go into P3 and get new ideas. Thanks for all your videos and help.

  • I like your idea of peanut butter balls with coconut flakes. Can you tell me please, how much peanut butter and cinamon, vanilla, cream cheese, etc. do you use? Measurements would be great.

  • @ailanamolina p3 is not for losing weight-its for maintaining where hcg left you off at. You can continue losing more weight after your 3 weeks of p3.

  • What kind of noodles can you eat? Where can you find them? I did not realize lunch meats had suger in them. I have been eating that. thanks, Luanne

  • @Luannejf1 You can find them under different names like: Miracle noodles, shirataki, (yam NOT tofu) and you can usually find them at your local asian market OR buy them online.

  • @mamaclok Im new to p3 and you have lots of experience and knowledge so here I am my shirataki are yam but it says 20 calories per serving is this normal? I thought yams were starch so Ive been afraid to try them.. thanks.

  • I'm currenlty have completed the vlcd and I'm on P3. I need to do another round and wanted to know based on your experience, could I skip P4 and start back on P2 (vlcd)?

  • Hi Mamaclok! Thank you so much for doing these vlogs, they are so helpful! I just finished my first round of phase 2 and will start phase 3 in a couple of days. I was just wondering when we eat in phase 3 it seems it is just like atkins diet, so why don't we lose while on these 3 weeks. I really did not want to be stuck at this weight for 3 weeks because I am going out of town in 4 and I wanted to get down 10 more lbs. Why don't we lose on this phase. Is it ok to lose some more weight?

  • I wanna work out and get healthy that way as well, gain muscles. I have about 30lbs to lose. Do you think the HCG could help me if I just ad is as a help to stay on a 1200 cal diet while working out?

  • @bagori99 If you want to lose 30 lbs then I would do the hcg protocol with hcg+500 cal diet and THEN focus on gaining muscle after the fat is gone.

  • @minerva38st You can eat fruits on p3...just stay away from the higher sugar fruits like bananas, pineapple, etc.

  • MAMACLOK: Do I do 2 loading days in the beginning of P2 of Round 2 ? [isn't mentioned in Dr.'s research paper, and somewhere along the way I believe I had heard some Vlog that there is no loading day on Round 2 P2 - what do you think?]

  • Does anyone know if you can use Stevia as a sweetener instead of artificial sweeteners. I just won't use them. If I can't use Stevia, I'll just have to forgo sweet altogether. Now THAT's gonna be some tough going.

  • @Ascended111111 -Yes you can use Stevia-seems to be the best for you out there!

  • I keep hearing so much about the different phases. I didn't read Kevin's book, preferring to follow Dr.Simeon's only. BUT, I see many people eating things NOT listed on Dr.Simeon's Protocol and the diet IS working for them. Should I just read Kevin's book and do the phases or??? Also, off subject, what about toothpaste, deodorant, bath soap, shampoo/conditioner? Can I use them??? Thanks, Mamaclok!

  • @HGCconfused1 I would stick to Dr. Simeons food list. Yes-lots of people switch up different things -but I can tell ya it doesnt work too well if they keep doing it long term. I didnt change out any of my personal items-except I stayed away from body lotions.

  • This video is very helpful in understanding Phase 3, and Phase 4. Thank you I am not sure I am understanding the steak day....would you elaborate on that at some point as to why the steak day, and is it for only one day during Phase 3? Love your videos

  • How come these foods don;t make [you] gain weight?! I would rarely come near cream cheese and peanut butter, and thats WHEN I WAS FAT and ate anything I wanted. We wouldn't gain by eating these nuts, cream, peanut butter, creamcheese, meats? The HCG at phase 3 works with us during this phase to any foods as long as it: [a]falls below the 800-calorie day, [b] has no starch and no sugars ?

  • It's so weird the things that are allowed to be eaten on Phase 3 ! lol they all look so fatty! yes, they are starch-free; but ... peanut butter?!!! [i never went near it too much when i WAS fat and eating anything because its so fatty lol. and cream cheese? nuts?! o my o my . lol. so whats the deal with all these ? why and/or how would we not gain during the Phase three? is the HCG still affecting us drastically to the point where we can gain and lose dramatically on a daily basis??

  • I just watched one of your videos saying to eat organic and not man made food then I see all this crap that you are eatting now and am so confused by this. You are eating peperoni with sourcream and cheese cake balls? Everything is "yummy" but it is all man made crap that is terrible for your body (regarless if you are gaining weight or not). Isn't it better to start training yourself to eat more natural foods, stop the salt and crap so that you don't fall into the weight gain pattern again?

  • You're right about some of that. Not all of this food is man-made and I've never claimed to eat all organic. I say we "should" eat organic because its good for us.

  • so are you losing weight from the 500 calorie diets? why do you have to do the low calorie if the pill takes the weight off?

  • You look wonderful! I'm in the research mode and have been watching your videos. You say this is simple but it sounds very difficult. I haven't figured out how I will stay on the diet and be around others eating meals. Nothing has ever worked for me, I just turned 65 and desperately want to lose this weight. A local doctor is charging $795 for this 12 week program.

  • You said you need to stop hcg for awhile...how long did you go between phases. Did you just do the 3 500 cal days, 3 weeks no sugar or starch and just start again?

  • AFter taking hcg and go into phase 3 you do 3 weeks of no sugars or starches and then go into phase 4 if you dont have any more weight to lose. If you plan on doing another round of hcg you should take 6 weeks of no sugars/starches...I didnt do that back then but I should have.

  • @mamaclok Why do you say you should have gone 6 weeks before starting a new round of hcg? I'm about to start P3 (first time), but I don't want to go 6 wks if I don't have to. You did really well on your second round w/out waiting so long to start, right?

  • I go to a HcG clinic tomorrow and have spent all evening watching you! You have been so helpful! I am at my wits end because I'm only 27, but am up to 205. I used to be so fit and healthy...then one bad relationship and one amazing relationship later...I am a COW! I am nervous about the HcG thing because it takes so much discipline...honesty the no alcohol is what I'm most worried about (no social life)...but at this point, I'll try ANYTHING! Any tips? How much did you lose your first round?

I've been depressed bc I'm hungry but I don't want to mess up what I've lost!   • When doing the hcg protocol you have to do them in phases. I explain each phase in my video titled "Phase 1-4 Overview" Check it out - another good video is "Hcg Basics" good ones to watch if you are just learning about it.

  • Very Helpful but should we eat low fat cheese and cream chesse and cottage cheese or regular in phase 3? so Phase 4 how long is that and that is where we add slowly surgars and carbs how do we do that slowly?

  • with all your experience what is the best way to cheat. I've heard stop the hcg 2 days prior before the cheat and a day after or should you just stick with hcg and muddle thru. I really would just finish my hcg but i cant pull it off at the family easter dinner to many questions and just to hard to be around all that food. I never really seem to get to the point that I don't feel hunger with the hcg just to the point of being able to deal with it until bed time. suggestions? thanks:)

  • The Cheese cake bites are awesome, but I do however recommend NOT using stevia...use splenda like mama says, trust me, its horrible with stevia.

  • No, I didnt do a cleansing. I would think it certainly wouldnt hurt especially if you feel you were eating unhealthy.

  • Stop! Stop! Stop! All that looks way to good! I'm finding the VLCD somewhat difficult (day8) at least psychologically. Can't wait for Phase 3. Great ideas in this post and will watch again when I'm there in another couple of weeks!

  • I know how painful it is to think about these yummy foods during VLCD...but when you get to phase 3, believe it or not, you cant wait to get back on the vlcd again. lol.

  • Very nice! Phase 3 is what most people have issues with, Phase 2 is so easy! ROFL - Oh yeah, right. I started a Phase 3 Boot Camp to help people thru this phase. Thanks for showing all your cheesiness! I have my own opinion on what is considered a starch on Phase 3 - I will probably share that in the future. I take my pepperoni chips and make guac, and it's EXCELLENT! I also fry cheese to make NACHO chips!
