i think that if they do make a new moon film, they should cast steven strait as jacob since jake is supposed to get older yah know. but seven would also be great because after a while jake is supposed to stop growing by too much anyway, his hair just starts to grow. And hey, steven and taylor look like they could possibly be brothers in some features. I understand where all the Taylor Lautner fans are coming from, but i mean come on, it wouldnt make sense unless they waited for taylor to grow!

It's Steven Strait and he wasn't cast because he's way too old for the part now. He's twenty-three (If I remember correctly) and the director wanted to cast people of the actual age for the film.

I know it's Steven Strait, and I know why he wasn't cast.... I'm just wondering why they came to that decision. Jacob looks 25 from the end of New Moon onward. If little Taylor Lautner can pull of a huge man, big ol' Steven Strait would be able to pull off a little man. Movie magic can work both ways.

Steven Strait can't really pull of being a sixteen year old anymore. Taylor seems much more capable of doing the role. Of course that said, I'm a little bias. I actually got to meet Taylor last summer. He defintely had Jacob traits. He was radiating enough heat. lol

I'm not arguing with you. I think Steven Strait is MY ideal Jacob (hence why I use him in my Jacob videos), but the truth is Taylor is Jacob for reasons that we are not yet aware of.

We just have to trust that they knew what they were doing. For all we know, Steven Strait was never approached and He never auditioned, so we will never know. He really would be a perfect jacob, at least in my mind.
